Up for sale is a 1981 Gibson Victory Standard bass. I'd say it's in very nice shape for a 34-year old bass. It's all solid. No cracks, no ... morewood separation. Nothing like that, only cosmetic wear from playing, it has that REAL. All-natural vintage look. Original pickup and pots were swapped out for a Bartolini dual-coil humbucker with active preamp. The 3-way switch lets you choose between the neck half(neck single-coil) The bridge single-coil, or full humbucker. The second mini-switch is for active/passive modes. Yes, this bass can be 100% passive when you want it to, the active preamp is fully bypassed with a flip of the switch. The 3 knobs are: highs. Lows, and master volume. It's also got a custom-cut genuine tooled leather pickguard. The body and neck(also bridge. Tuners, strap buttons etc are ALL ORIGINAL) All listed changes didn't require ANY modifications to the body or neck. No extra cavities or routing, they fit perfectly without any irreversible changes to the bass. US shipping is $45 flat rate(tracking. Insurance and signature confirmation included) International shipping is available. Contact me if you have any questions.

1976 Gibson L-9-S“THE RIPPER” Bass My first album as a kid growing up was KISS–Destroyer. When I got into guitars and basses. It was not long before I ... morefound out Gene Simmons played a Gibson GRABBER back in the 70’s. I got my first Grabber about 9 years ago. Once I got a taste of the Grabber. Naturally I had to try a Ripper Bass. There are two distinct differences in the two models and there is a reason the Ripper you see here is a more valuable piece. Keep Reading… This auction is for my 1976 Gibson USA L-9-S“THE RIPPER” Bass Guitar. The L-9-S bass was introduced in 1973 by Gibson and in 1974 they renamed it THE RIPPER. When I happened across this bass. I called our friends at Gibson and had a nice talk about it. You can see from the photos that the rear headstock has the L-9-S model above the serial number 00156345. The pots date to 1975 and 1976. How could that be? I asked them. I am pleased to say that is 100% accurate. Gibson still used the model number L-9-S on the rear headstock even though they had re-named the bass publically to“THE RIPPER” They added the“RIPPER” Truss cover from 1974 on. We all agreed this bass was manufactured in 1976. Having Pots from mid 1975 and early 1976 in this bass is absolutely consistent with the era. THE REAL DEAL. HOLYFIELD! Fashion was a little different when this Gibson Ad for THE RIPPER came out. Great photograph to bring you back when the world and music was much different then today. THIS IS A GENUINE 1976 RIPPER BASS! This one shows very nice overall. I put some photos above with the tip of a pen showing light checking. Dings, dents and scratches. Let’s remember this bass is about to turn 37 years old soon. THIRTY SEVEN YEARS OLD? Wow! Where were you 37 years ago? How old where you? Where you born yet? Exactly my point. Put this into perspective. What is going on in the world? Jimmy Carter is NOT YET President of the United States. Wosniak and Jobs start a little garage company called Apple Computers in April 1976. The Ramones release their first album

1967 era Gibson EB3 or EB0 Bass original pickguard We bought this on eBay last week as a 1967 68 or so pickguard. It looks great and has aged beautifully. ... moreHowever it does not fit my wife's 1962 EB3. It was a hopeful. But no. This is a pickguard that incorporated the old style hand rest metal cover and pickup cover without ring. Somone had to drill out the head of the screw on the bottom middle hole to get it off the bass it was on. I was not informed of this when we bought it. I removed the imbedded screw head and it will not show when mounted. The hole is not as large as it looks INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME AT the2ormorestore! INCREASE YOUR TONE! Up for sale is a 1973-75 Gibson EB-3 Electric Bass Guitar- The serial number is 898858- which equates to the 1973-75 timeframe. This is a cool and rare ... moreguitar. Unfortunately I don't play bass. I purchased this from its original owner and was told that it is all original, however the bridge cover is missing. I removed the strings and was planning to put a replacement pair on however, I'll leave that to the next buyer. I did my best to capture the imperfections. The buyer should not expect this to be a mint condition vintage guitar. It has it's share of bumps and bruises. Shipping will be a flat $50 to the domestic USA. I'm not willing to ship anywhere else other than the lower 48 states. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Gibson EB-2D C EB2DC Bass Guitar c.69-72 Made in USA Up for auction is a Walnut Finish Gibson EB-2D Bass Guitar. According to the“Fly Guitars” web site. ... moreOnly 13 Walnut Finish EB-2 Bass guitars were ever made. I am not sure if that is the case. However, I believe the Walnut instrument finish on this model of Gibson Bass is somewhat rare. Additionally, this is the two pickup variant of the Gibson EB-2. i.e. a EB-2D) so I it might have been custom order. The Bass is strung with a set of Rotosound stainless steel(monel) flat wound light gauge strings. I am guessing they have less than 20 hours of play time on them. The finish on the body is original. However. As to be expected in a c.45year old instrument, there is weather checking pigs. Dings and of wear to the finish of the body. There appears to be a patch on the back of this guitar that has marks from a previous player’s belt buckle(what is termed“belt buckle rash. The strap buttons appear to be replacements. There is a hole at the tip of the horn on the low E string side of the instrument where a strap button was once located by a previous owner. As stated above. The finish on the body of the instrument appears to be original. However, the neck appears to have been refinished in Nitro by a previous owner(see the photos. The electronics work and the bass ready to play. The Big Pickup cover at the base of the fretboard is embossed“Gibson” The tuners are stock Shaller’s(embossed“Gibson” which Gibson used on many models of their bass guitars in the late 60s to 70s. The Volume and Tone knobs are original. I am not sure of the year of manufacture but I am guessing 1969– 1972. The serial number at the back of the headstock is 620159. The electronics work. I am not sure if everything is entirely original but electronically everything works. The felt mute pad that was mounted under the bridge has been removed and was lost long before I purchased the instrument(most players did not use the mute and took it off the bass. The tune-o-matic bridge is inta

1977 Gibson RD Artist Bass S/N 72877053 This is a 1977 Gibson RD Artist bass guitar with the original Moog electronics functioning. According to the online Guitar Dater Project it was made in the Kalamazoo plant on 10/14/1977. And was production number 53, which should make it one of the earliest of this model. It has a blonde maple body with a black pickguard and a maple neck and fretboard. It has the original Mark V humbuckers and Schaller BM tuners. The angled headstock features a flying f-hole and lightning bolt inlay. The original three-point bridge has been replaced with a Badass bridge. Rather than doweling the original bridge holes, the owner left them open, which is unsightly but means that installing either a Gibson bridge or one of the heavier Hipshot replacements should still be possible. With the maple body, these basses are ... morevery heavy, but they also have great tone and sustain. Unlike the recent reissues of this model, this bass is what the RD was designed to be: a deep-end tone factory. The controls include speed knobs for volume on each pickup, a speed knob for bass and one for treble(both marked-5 to +5) a three-position pickup selector switch, and a three-position mode selector switch featuring normal, bright, compression(neck pickup) and expansion(bridge pickup) modes. A good description of the controls and sonic possibilities can be found at: http:www.flyguitars.com/gibson/bass/RDartist.php. There is also a good eBay buyers’ guide to the guitar version of this model at: http:reviews.ebay.com/Buying-Vintage-Guitars-Gibson-RD?ugid=10000000005140055 The bass is not in mint condition. But still looks and plays great. This is an excellent player’s instrument as is, or a good candidate for quick restoration. Please see pictures for examples of the biggest areas of wear. For the purposes of disclosure, the following are the flaws and known modifications: Neck: some fretboard and back of neck wear-Body: some buckle rash on back. A few minor scratches, marks, and pits on the back and the
This Gibson Victory Bass was made in 1981 and its serial# is 82811526. The bass was just set up and the neck works and plays very nice! All the electronics are correct. It does have a good amount of wear to it. As shown in the photos. The pickgaurd has a slight warp to it and the body and neck has considerable paint chips, but the guitar is beyond solid! The headstock has NEVER been broken. The low E string saddle is missing a part, but these can be replaced through Schaller. Even with missing part, the string height is exactly where it needs to be and plays fine! Bass is sold as it, and does not have a case. No reserve, Good Luck!
This is a rare 70's les paul signature bass(goldtop) There were only approx. 700 of these made in the early 1970's. the serial# is: 180100 This bass sounds incredible Please see here for the background story and specifics. I do have the case for it. Which is in fully functional, yet its missing the handle. Can easily find a replacement handle http:www.flyguitars.com/gibson/bass/LesPaulSignatureBass.php The bass has been thoroghly cleaned and set-up The neck straight. The volume pot and input jack were just sprayed for total cleanliness. This bass is marked"second" on the back of the neck. The previous owner said that since he had it(many years) there was never a manufacturer flaw of any sort. Especially visually or structurally) the one small issue is that the varitone selector is backwards. the actual transistors are correct ... moreand work perfectly. but when flipped to the 50hz setting. Its actually playing the 500 hz. the original owner agreed that the electronics are correct and that it must have been the actual"setting Label"that is just put on upside down. an easy fix! the label is not bolted or screwed on. its like a stick on label. very much like the ring around the pickup selector on a gibson les paul guitar)Visually the bass is in great condition. There are, however, a couple"checking" scratches on the front. barley thru the paint coat) and a little nick on side of the neck. Nothing at all sever. Just normal wear of of bass this age. Actually this is one of the cleanest i have seen. The back finish is very clean and no buckle rash whatsoever. Like i said- there are too many of floating around in good shape. The bridge cover is super clean too. This is a a great bass- sounds big. Warm and can be bright and bitey or nice and round Posted with

1980 Gibson G-3 Grabber Bass 100% Original OHSC Black W/Bridge Cover 3 Pickups! Super cool Gibson Grabber G-3 Bass. All original with the 3 Bill Lawrence single coil pickups which are 100% quiet in all positions of the toggle switch. Turn on your speakers and watch the video below that is currently playing to get every last detail about this monster. I don't think there has ever been a cooler bass made.period! It's got a baseball bat neck. Huge body, but very thin body, so it really doesn't weigh much at all. Comes with the original hardshell case that is in really good condition and all 6 latches are perfect too. No issues there at all. This bass is rare in that it even still has the original bridge cover on it. Most people lost these things. Nothing is missing on here. It's all here, it's all original. Maple bolt on ... moreneck with Maple fretboard and pearloid inlays. A few marks that I tried to show in the pictures above. Just worming marks that do not go through the finish. There is one little spot that goes through the finish on the back edge of the bass on it's butt, near the rear strap button. It's shown in the pictures too. This black beauty is actually in really great shape. The bridge cover has lost any shine that it ever had. The rest of the chrome is super clean! Go figure. lol Someone with acidic sweat simply rested their hand on the bridge cover when they played(That's what it's there for.to keep your saddles clean and un rusted.and it worked) So, check out the video and ask any questions you might have. I don't think you'll have any questions at all. I love to tell the history of instruments and you'll know more about these than 99% of the people in the world after you watch my video. Yes, these are the original tuners too! Yep, they had the big moster tuners earlier on in the 70's, but Gibson put on these much better tuners as better tuners were made. Cheers! P.S. Frets are in PERFECT condition. They've got a good 30 years left on them. Yep. Your o

Gibson EB-2 Bass 1960's Patent Art Print Drawing Company founder Orville Gibson made mandolins in Kalamazoo. Michigan, in the late 1890s. He invented archtop guitars by using the same type of carved, arched tops found on violins. By the 1930s, the company was also making flattop acoustic guitars, as well as one of the first commercially available hollow-body electric guitars, which were used and popularized by Charlie Christian. In the early 1950s, Gibson introduced its first solid-body electric guitar and its most popular guitar to date—the Les Paul. After being purchased by the Norlin corporation in the late 1960s Gibson's quality and fortunes took a steep decline until early 1986, when the company was rescued by its present owners. I have the original pots, tuners, and some screws also. I am the third owner, the second told me, it was bought at a pawn shop, the body had heavy checking, there where no body, neck or head repairs, just a nice nitro metal flake burgndy finish. The refine was done by Lays of Akron, Ohio. Super nice job.Quality work, check out there web site. This bass was used in a church band. So it was played in good company. Also it has an epiphone case. This Gibson EB-0 SG bass guitar was manufactured in 1967. My dad bought this bass back in the 80s from a friend of his. And it has since come into my possession It's been a really cool bass to own, but my dad and I are big Beatles fans, so I'd like to sell this one and put the money towards a Rickenbacker 4003 bass. This SG Bass has rarely been played in the years that I've had it, but it does show signs of age and wear. I've just had this bass set up and restrung. And the bass plays well and sounds great. Overall, I believe this bass to be in pretty good condition, but it does have some natural wear as well as a few dings and scratches on the body and along the back of the neck. There is a small area on the top string tuner where the chrome has peeled off. This bass does include the original Gibson issued hard-shell case, ... morebut the case is missing the handle. This bass guitar has one really interesting feature: a little pull tab that lifts a small rubber/foam strip up to the strings so they sound muted without the player having to palm mute the strings. Feel free to ask about it if you have questions or would like to see a different picture.

This is a Gibson RD77 RD Artist bass from 1979; it's got the dual switches on the front. Unlike the earliest iterations of the RD bass. When I got it, it was in PERFECT condition, so each ding has been painfully and torturously endured under my supervision. I have suffered for this bass, and it has suffered for me. It is maple. The neck is 3 piece maple, with an ebony fretboard. It's long scale plays unlike any other bass I've every played, and the sound is, well, Nirvana. It's a factory 2nd. Meaning it had a finish flaw from the factory. You can see in in the photo of the length of the neck. Despite not being able to feel or otherwise detect why the black color is absent from those bits of the neck, it looks like it's been played thoroughly and those are wear marks. I assure you, they are not. The stock finish feels completely ... moreuniform over the entirety of the neck. If you need a workhorse. Are a collector, love Nirvana, or just respect the amazing sound of these basses, here you go. Perhaps the most noticeable apparent flaw aside from the factory finish on the neck is by the 3 position pickup switch; towards the body runs an ap parent finish crack. I've tried to cap ture i t in the photos; check them all out closely to try to see what I'm talking about. The case is in decent shape with only a little wear to the outside surface; all latches work and such. And yeah. That's the manual. And my original receipt. Ugh. The bass is stock; nothing mussed with or fussed with. I did buy a replacement battery cover switch. Which is included, because a corner from the original had cracked. the original is still on and still functions. All electronics work silently; no crackling or fuzzy sounds when turning the knobs. And the neck is totally straight and the action is amazing. I figure this will sell to somebody who's played this RD or one like it. I could perhaps hand deliver it to an airport for international buyers if I'm planning on going near you. It doesn't hurt to ask! Shippi
1970's Gibson SB 400 Bass. The bad first. Finish checking and the finish worn through on bottom edge. See picture. The electronics all work but the pup switches are scratchy and may need to be worked o n. Or replaced down the road. The good. All electronics work and sound great. There is lots of fret life. The neck is straight and a new truss rod was installed by Keith Holland guitars so that will be a non issue for a long time to come. There are no cracks in the headstock or neck and body. Great for all manner of music. Selling because I am downsizing. Arthritis is getting worse and this baby should be out there getting more play time. Sold as is, it comes with a non original locking case, it will be well packed and shipped insured. Sold to the lower U. S. only so please don't ask. Shipping is a flat $ 5 0 but if it costs less I ... morewill refund the difference. If it costs more that's on me. On Dec-31-12 at 15:10:20 PST. Seller added the following information:

Gibson BiCentennial Thunderbird Bass Pick Guard-Do you belong to that very small group of vintage bass owners who own a Gibson Bicentennial Bass with a broken or cracked pick guard or perhaps a dealer or collector who has enough components to put one together?Well. Here's that chance to restore that bass to it's big dollar value- This pickguard has the little" 76" on the emblem. The sign of a true Bi-Centennial T-Bird-They were built in 1976 AND 1977 so if your bass has a serial number starting with either 00 or 06 this is the correct replacement part- The pick guard is in great shape-It has a few small scrapes and abrasions. Nothing heinous-No cracks or breaks! The pix pretty much speak for themselves. There is a strong reflection of a light fixture showing and on the back there is some of what looks like old finish or some ... moreother substance. That is cellophane tape over the screwholes( it came that way) I strongly advise having a guitar expert( a lutherian) install this-You've heard the old story about not buying a car built on Mondays- Well. If just one screw hole is off a little bit you could end up wrecking this one. In fact most ruined pick guards get that way from cranking down on the screws.Or not screwing them down like you would do a spare tire. Another way is if you don't have original screws- A lutherian would know whether to open the holes up or not.Etc. etc.Spend a few extra bucks and have the thing set up right anyway! So if your a player with a need its time- If your a dealer get that bass back up for sale-

Details. 1979 Gibson RD Artist Bass Gibson's RD Artist bass may have only survived production for a few short years. But it made a big impression. It has a sweeping"Thunderbird on acid" body style that is cooler than cool and an all natural finish that will never go out of style. The active Moog electronics give you a lot of tonal options and the full 34" scale makes for a very punchy and defined sound. All the electronics and hardware work well and the bass is all original. There are nicks and scratches in the paint as well as weather checking lines. As you often see there cracks in the paint around the neck joint but it is solid. There are no breaks or repairs on the bass. The RD is a miles away from any of Gibson's classic archtops, but it is a very inspired design nonetheless. This is. By far, the cleanest Gibson Les Paul Signature Bass I've ever encountered. When a friend contacted me, and asked if I would help sell a Gibson bass he'd had for years, I wasn't prepared for what awaited me when I opened the case. What we have here. Is one of the 627 Les Paul Signature Basses, produced between late 1973 until 1979. This bass has been in it's case most of it entire life. It is nearly as clean as the day it left the factory. There are almost no visible flaws. The gold-top finish is brilliant. The neck is virtually unplayed. The fingerboard and frets look new. It's hard to describe just how beautiful this bass is. Just stunning. The serial number is 509094. Which puts it somewhere in late 1974. It has the"Made In USA" stamp, and a"Second" stamp. Most of these basses I've seen ... moreover the years, have a"Second" stamp, usually due to a flaw in the finish. On the volute, are some scratches to the finish that are hard to describe. The owner, who has owned this bass for nearly it's entire existence, says that these marks have always been there. Being that these are the only flaws that are evident, we wonder if they are the reason for the"Second" stamp. Regardless, you'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of a very limited production Gibson bass. It plays like a dream. Nice low action on a very straight and stable neck. Feels like a brand new bass. The original case is in super condition. All latches and hinges work perfectly. There is some dust on the case. But I left most of it on there. Didn't want to clean it too much. Dust gives it some character. There's really not much more to say. Other than to look at the photos below and see for yourself. This could be the cleanest example available for years to come! NOTE: Shipping cost will be determined after auction's end. We bill ONLY WHAT IT COSTS US. So it's hard to determine until we know the destination. It will be shipped heavily packed with full insuranc

Up for sale is a 1973-75 Gibson EB-3 Electric Bass Guitar- The serial number is 898858- which equates to the 1973-75 timeframe. This is a cool and rare guitar.

1976 Gibson L-9-S“THE RIPPER” Bass My first album as a kid growing up was KISS–Destroyer. When I got into guitars and basses. It was not long before I found out Gene Simmons played a Gibson GRABBER back in the 70’s. The pots date to 1975 ... moreand 1976.
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION and EXAMINE PHOTOS BEFORE SENDING QUESTIONS. Gibson EB2. Sunburst finish. Serial number is 806874, and due to the unpredictability of Gibson serials, the bass could possibly be a 1969. But is more likely a 1966. Comes in original hardshell case. Great condition. Very clean. 30 1/2 inch scale. No volute on back of neck. The EB2 has one pickup at the neck. The"baritone" switch creates a superb bass tone, which explains why this bass features heavily in 1960s Rock and in Reggae. Any questions about payment or shipping. Please message me. We will not be ending this auction early. Please don't bother to ask. Shipping is via UPS Ground. Insured. Local pickup encouraged. Flat rate shipping only applies to continental US. No international shipping. Any questions on condition. Etc. feel free to email. Please note ... morethat I am not available to return emails on Fridays and Sundays, or other days after 5 pm, so please be patient if I don't email back right away.
This is a vintage import copy of a Gibson EB-3 by"Lyle" From the late 1960's early 1970's and imported from Japan as a knock off of SG style basses. The electronics sound surprisingly good and has a very unique character voice that is excellent for studio work. There is some fret buzz in places and could probably use a set up or possibly fret dress. The body shows plenty of dings. Wear, and weather checking but very presentable and great vintage vibe. The neck is very straight, the action is low and plays effortlessly all the way up the neck. Truss rod functions perfectly. If you've ever played a 1960's EB-3 the neck profile is pretty much identical and the action is as good or better than any original EB bass I've played. The knobs have been replaced with Gibson"speed knobs" One of the tuners is missing ... morethe back cover but works perfectly and in no way affects tuning or playability. Both pickups work well and have a great vintage voice that will make a great addition to any player's tone palette. As best I can figure the pickup configurations allow switching for the neck pickup alone and a combination of neck and bridge pickup together. For a bass it is very lightweight. just a hair over 8 lbs. It is balanced perfectly with no"neck dive" A very cool old vintage piece from the early days of the Japanese"lawsuit" guitars. Shipping is $40 in the US 48 only. $100 opening bid with no reserve so the highest bidder takes it. No case but I will pack safely. 265ae.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk.rp73%28%3E%3F265ae-13c72bea48f-0xf4-

If you own a Gibson or Epiphone SG-style short-scale bass. You probably have discovered that an official Gibson case is hard to find. You can't buy one directly from Gibson, for some reason, and good luck getting one from the online retailers. So here you go. Now it certainly has some cosmetic issues. Take a careful look at the pictures. The black tolex covering is scuffed and torn around the edges. The fake leather covering on the handle is torn. But as far as I can tell the thick rubber loops that actually form the handle are not damaged, so the handle still works just fine. One rear latch is missing its loop, but this case has so many other latches(SEVEN in all! that one broken latch doesn't really matter. You may notice that this is actually a nicer case that what normally comes with a Gibson guitar or bass. Instead of the fluffy ... morewhite interior. The plush here has a kind of quilted or"sheepskin" feel to it. And those seven latches aren't on the regular cases either(most have just five, I think) so this must have been some kind of custom case at one time, I don't know. The white interior has a few darkened areas, but it's clean, and there are no funky smells or mildew odors. The hinges work fine. And the case closes and latches securely. As you can see, it has a large interior storage pocket with a padded lid. The combination latch/lock still works fine. It's still set to 0-0-0, and I haven't touched it. Please note this is designed to hold a short-scale bass. The interior dimensions are: 43 inches long. 14 inches wide at the lower bout, and 8 inches wide at the headstock. I don't think it will really fit anything if it's an SG-style instrument. Winning bidder pays $20 for FedEx Ground shipping. So please provide me with your PHONE NUMBER if you win(I won't call and chat with you; I need it for the FedEx forms) PayPal only. Please. Sorry. But NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. This is a 1972 Gibson EBO that I got as a project but I don't have the time to restore it so I'm offering it for some one else to take on. All the parts are there with the exception of one of the bridge studs. When I got it there was a bad ass bridge and a replacement pickup on it which has been changed back to original. The finish is not good and needs to be re-done. It can be played as is. it will come in a hard shell case that is nothing to look at but will protect the guitar. AGAIN THIS IS A PROJECT NOT A MUSEM PEICE!

This is a 1961 Gibson EB-O in amazing condition This is a refinished guitar. But undoubtedly a 1961. the serial number, while hard to read, starts with a"2" This, along with extensive research on vintage guitar forums and websites, indicates that it's a 1961. Using a special light. it's either 28755 or 28756. The body. Tuners, headstock and pickguard are all original. The chrome plated bridge. Which replace the nickel plated bridges on EB-O's in 1964/1965, are from that time period. The tuners are from the late 60's and the pick-upis from the 70's. It's only noticeable discrepancies are VERY small specks of the cherry red color from it's original paint job and they are almost microscopically small. i've taken 2 pictures of where they are at. I had this guitar set up by trusted and knowledgeable friend. ... morethe action is good and it is intonated well. the short scale neck plays great with a rumbly. Primitive sound characteristic of these instruments.and it has no electrical problems. I have video of it being played.I can send if you would like me to do so) It is outfitted with flat wound strings and will be shipped with a non-original case. Also note the FREE shipping. This is a very nice guitar that would make an excellent purchase for the right person. All questions welcome and insurance included in shipping. Thanks. Posted with the Posted with the Posted with

I have tried to figure out the exact model and year of this guitar. But I'm not 100% sure it is a 1966 model. I'm no expert. I did look it up on the guitar Dater Project and it said the following: Your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Plant. USA approximately in: 1966 I just don't want to lead anyone astray with bad info. However old it is. It is an absolutely beautiful guitar. I would love to keep it, but my hobbies have turned to other things, so I'm clearing out some of my guitars. I'd rather someone appreciate it and play it instead of letting it sit in my room collecting dust. I honestly haven't played it in probably 3 years. It is in excellent condition. But does have a couple blemishes. It has a small spot on the underside of the neck where it was hanging on a guitar wall hook. I guess the foam hook bit into ... morethe clear finish a little bit. Someone could probably buff this out and it would look like new. It didn't damage the wood itself. This isn't the first guitar I've had damaged by those stupid wall hangers. There are some surface dings on the back of the guitar. I guess whoever had it before me had a big belt buckle. None of these dings dig into the wood either, so it could probably be refinished to like-new. I tried to take good photos of both blemishes, but seriously, I own guitars a 1/4 the age of this with more wear. I don't think this thing has been played much over the years. It comes with what I assume is the original hardshell case. It is the only case I've had it in since I've owned it. I will ship this for free through either UPS or FedEx. I trust FedEx a little more with delicate items like this. I will insure it for the final purchase price for piece of mind. If you have any questions. Please let me know.

Gibson EB-2 in excellent condition. Looks and plays great. Currently has flat-wound strings. Some normal checking on back of neck and headstock(see photo) Comes with hard shell case(not original) I was told that the pick guard is not original and a previous owner added thumb rest which I found useful as a finger picker. Unfortunately. I have rarely played because I'm not in a band anymore so it's time to sell.

I believe this neck was to be used for the Gibson Riper Bass but could be a good replacement for any set neck bass body. What you see us what you get. Looks like there is a small spot of wood filler at the base. Photo shown. I don't know much other than what I've described above. US shipping only Good luck! Posted with
Early 70's EB 450 Long scale in orig. condition. all parts are orig. except the bridge string adjusters. the old one were butchered. Had a gibson specialist go through everything from clean to set up. straight neck. Intonation and harmonics are perfect. The case is in new shape with key and the fit is perfect. only a few hundred in natural color were made. Stage ready to rock like h-ll. I also have the bridge cover but its pitted on the top side. I'm not certain. But I believe this knob was used on Gibson Les Paul Basses and Les Paul Recording guitars circa 1968-1974. Maybe the Les Paul professional, too, but I'm not sure. As you can see, it shows wear, but it solid.
