According to The Blue Book of Acoustic Guitars. The Guild Mark II classical guitar was manufactured from 1961 to 1986. Gruhn’s Guide and Vintage Guitar Price Guide basically agree. Although there is some disagreement as to specific features. Like most classical guitars, it’s smaller than the dreadnought or jumbo series, measuring 14 ½” at the lower bout, with a scale of 25 ½. Like its rival, the Gibson C-1, it may have been designed more for the coffee house of the 1960s folk music scene or classical performance than for the blue grass stage. However, it still has enough carrying power for anybody and is a beautiful example of Guild craftsmanship. The Mark II features a solid spruce top with mahogany back. Sides, and three-piece neck in a polished satin natural finish, a rosewood wrap-around bridge, and a 12/19-fret rosewood finger ... moreboard. It has an ornate patterned rosette and full binding on both the top and the back. The slotted classical headstock has no logo, but is set off beautifully by the pearloid buttons on the open nickel tuners. The serial number on this guitar(27434) dates it as 1963, and is displayed both on the back of the headstock and on the label(see pictures 10 and 12) As might be expected after 50 years of making music. There are a number of cosmetic and structural concerns: there is some crazing or cracking in the finish, a number of dings and bruises, and considerable pick wear around the sound hole, indicating that it was played for years as a folk guitar as Guild intended rather than a classical. There is very little actual fret wear, presumably due to its nylon strings. Structurally. However, there are more notable issues. If you look closely at the pictures, you will be able to see three professionally repaired cracks below the bridge; all have been glued and cleated and are completely stable. There is also a decades-old re-construction of the headstock; while there are some wood chips missing, my luthier says that the repair is solid as a rock, the original tuners still work fi

Here we have a classic in the world of basses. This is a 1980 Guild B-302 with the original Guild hard shell case. There are some nicks and buckle rash but nothing that would show up in the pictures. Nothing through the finish. Nothing you would not expect on a 32 year old instrument. There is also a wear spot on the pick guard that you can see in the photo. Rich, smooth sound, straight neck and sweet action. I purchased this several years ago and it has not left the house. Here is your chance to own a true vintage USA made bass. Tonality is nice and smooth with some brightness due to the maple back and sides. Top is solid spruce. Fingerboard is rosewood, and it's in excellent shape. These guitars are hard to come by and I'm guessing this one was made in the'80s. But again that's just a guess. Sticker inside reads"G37 BLD Serial: DF101432 Made in USA. The quality is really apparent. Feels solid in the hands and responds nicely to finger picking. I am particularly impressed with the articulate, clean sound. ... moreWould have no hesitation about taking this acoustic on stage or in the studio. Serial# 71021. I think this is a 1972 Guild. I don't have the original paperwork. I'm not the original owner but have owned this since around 1977. I searched some sites and this serial# seems to be a 1972. Buyer to verify the year this was made if possible. Overall condition is very good. Minor fret wear.needs new strings and there's some crazing/crackling in the finish throughout the body and neck. I tried to take pictures to show any scratches or imperfections. I took this to a local music shop. It plays and sounds great like a Guild should. I've never made any repairs to this guitar or replaced any parts on this unit since owning it. To my knowledge this is all original(except for strings) The hardshell case is in great shape too.just minor wear and tear. All hinges work. If you have any questions. Email me. If you can't ... moresee something in an image. email me, I'll take another pic and send it to you. I'll send you multiple pics. I can only load 12 pics on the listing but will email more upon request with no hesitation. This is NOT RETURNABLE. If you're not sure.don't bid. I'm representing this to the best of my ability. VINTAGE 1967 GUILD THUNDERBASS I ELECTRIC TUBE GUITAR BASS AMP Head& Cabinet For your consideration. A rare 1967 Guild Thunderbass Tube Guitar/Bass Amplifier and Matching 2X12 Cabinet, beige/cream color, in working order with original covers. Please Scroll Down To View All Photographs! If you've been looking for a loud vintage tube amp to plug your guitar or bass into. You just found it! This would make a fine addition to any vintage tube amp collection as well. This is a loud powerful amp. Guild built these for bass players but they have become a favorite of guitar players over the years. Output is rated at 100W RMS. The head uses the following tubes: 2 X 8417 Power Tubes 3 X 12AX7 Preamp Tubes 1 X 7247 Tube Every function has been tested and found in good working order. The pots are clean and smooth with no"scratchy-ness" ... morewhatsoever. 1967 age is approximate based on pot and speaker codes. The pot I looked up is coded 137 6631. Which decodes to CTS(Chicago Telephone Supply) 31st week of 1966. Speaker codes 465651 and 465731 translate to Oxford speakers, 51st week of 1966 and 31st week of 1967. It is possible this is a 1967 or 1968 amplifier as the pot and speaker codes only tell us when the parts were manufacturer. Original Oxford 12T6-6 speakers! A pair of these speakers alone sells for $300.00. And with good reason- they sound fantastic! The amp head has the original large metal handle which attaches to the cabinet via two adjustable posts with the original chrome knobs- A very cool. Funky, futuristic design back in the 1960s! As with most amplifiers of this vintage. There are cosmetic issues, please see the pictures. The tolex is pretty marked up, there are numerous dings/scuffs, the knobs appear to have some white paint on them(it comes off with some scrubbing- I tried one! the master volume knob has a"G" written in marker, and the previous owner wrote his name and telephone number on the back of the amp with a blue ball-point pen. Electronically the amp is perfect, as the winning

Just an absolutely gorgeous finish and style, well appointed, bound top and back. Solid Spruce for the top, solid mahogany back and sides(and neck) rosewood fretboard. It is in very good shape. There is a hairline crack in the finish on the back(see pictures 3 and 4) Comes with a TKL hardshell case. Please email with any questions. Thanks, Greg

Hey guys. Up for your consideration is an older Guild Arch Top Guitar Neck with the serial number"14235" on the back of it's headstock. I am no guitar expert and recieved this piece(as well as the other pieces I have listed) from a friend of my fathers who is ill and no longer had any use for them. I looked this specific serial number up on the Guild website and according to them, this neck would have belonged to a guitar produced somewhere between 1960 and 1961. In the photos you can see that it does have a truss rod, but it appears the dove-tail heel has been sawn off. I do not know the scale of this neck, but the over all length of the neck measures 24.5 inches, and the fretboard itself measures 17.5 inches. The total number of nickel frets on this neck is 20 and i believe the fretboard to be rosewood. This is used and as ... moreyou can see in the picture there is normal fret and finish wear that would be expected from a guitar over 50 years old. Feel free to ask any questions. Or for more pictures. I do not advocate off site sales in any way. But where this is a new ebay account for me, I know paypal may hold the funds for upwards of 20 days so I would encourage communication with whoever wins post auction as we may be able to work out a more convenient way of handling the payment and shipping of this item.
For Auction: 1963 Guild Mark I. This is a USA Guitar made in Hoboken. NJ. Serial number on the Label matches the Serial Number on the Neck Stamp. Overall the guitar is in good condition. It has some cracks that need to be addressed and some of the bracing needs to be reglued. We had Charlie at Arrowhead Music check the guitar up. He worked for Gibson for many years and now build and restores guitars. He has been in the business for over 50 years. He told me that to get everything reglued would cost $150. The Guild Mark I was introduced in 1961 as has the following specifications: Honduras Mahogany Top/Sides/Back, 3 Piece Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Figerboard and Bridge, Body Dimensions: 19 1/8 X 14 1/2 X 3 1/2, Scale Length: 25 1/2, Satin Finish, There is no case included. The neck is solid and is strongly attached to the body. There are some ... moremarks on the neck. There is some paint marks on the body; but these could be cleaned and resotred. I took close up pictures of the cracks on the top and back. These are still to the stage that could be repair and they would not be visible. Because of condition. We are starting the auction at $399. The winner of the auction will have the option to take the guitar as is and have it fixed by your local luthier; or you can pay the additional $150 and we will have Charlie fix it locally prior to shipping. Guitar will be properly packed for shipping. Winner of the auction must pay within 24 hours of the conclusion of the auction. Item will be shipped within 48 hours of confirmation of payment. Unless the buyer wants to get guitar fixed by Charley in that case, we will communicate timeline for shipping. Please we only accept PayPal. Thank you for looking!
This is a nice Guild F20 from 1963. It was made in Hoboken in the USA. It is played hard and shows lots of wear but is a great sounding guitar. It plays fine now with high action and to lower the action it would need a neck reset so I am selling as a project. It is well worth restoration. It comes with an old non original hard case. Feel free to ask any questions. We are happy to ship internationally but we will not falsify customs forms because that is illegal. Thanks for looking!

GUILD D25M- MADE IN USA- ALL ORIGINAL! link above for description of guitar. Enjoy! Original hardshell case! A Guild D25 was originally made as an all mahogany guitar. Then Guild changed the top to spruce. And shortly thereafter arched the back; all in the mid 1970s. Then, sometime in the 1990s, they went back to an all Mahogany D25, and a flat back. The arched back models have a real reputation for projecting well(some just call them loud) The arched backs are laminates(no braces on the back) all the other parts of the guitar are solid(top. Sides) and the flat back D25 have a solid back(with braces) The M in a D25 means Mahogany finish. In conjunction with a spruce top. They were made for about 15 years or so in spruce top/mahogany back and sides/arched back. I think the only common colors that they were finished in were mahogany and natural. ... moreThere may have been some other colors(black, for example) but not many of the other colors are around.
Today we are offering for your consideration on this VINTAGE 12 STRING 1974-75 GUILD G212 ACOUSTIC GUITAR with ORIGINAL CASE. Yes. Here's a real nice made in Hoboken NJ Guild 12 String Guitar. The newer Guilds don't stand a chance next to this vintage 12. This one is sure a sweet sounding 12 with no outstanding issues. We received it and our luther took care of this fine instrument. Solid spruce top had to be glued and filed as shown in pic. This is now stabilized and is not going any further. Back of neck also has wear but it is almost 40 years old. There are some light marks but great for it's age. Neck is straight and action low. I believe this boy has solid mahogany sides and back. Frets are fine with many years of play on them. Low starting price and this one is sure a bargain. Any questions please ask. No returns unless ... moreitem is different from description. Properly packed and insured. No international shipping. The guitar is in fantastic shape, there are some light surface scratches, but there are few and they are far between. The fretboard is in great shape and the frets still have a good deal of life to them. The top is flat and the guitar is set up with a straight neck and low action. This is an awesome piece of history and it is very hard to find any of these Madieras. The headstock logo is gorgeous, the keys are original and working and this is a guitar that would make any player proud. I do offer a return guarantee on everything I sell because I know it's hard to make a decision on an instrument without playing it. If you have any questions please ask and I hope that you have a wonderful day!Andy ... more426 XRPPXY

The original Guild D-50 was created in 1963 and was known as the Bluegrass Jubilee. It was discontinued in 1993 but has been brought back by popular demand in this Guild Acoustic Design Series GAD-50. It has the same solid woods. Scalloped bracing, and ornate inlays as the original. This Guild has a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The body is fully bound, top and back with classy mahogany binding and it has a clear pick guard, a rosewood bridge with ebony pearl-dot pins and a bone saddle as well as a multi stripe inlaid rosette. The back features an elaborate inlaid wood mosaic center strip which contrasts nicely with the gleaming high gloss rosewood finish. The one piece mahogany neck is faced with a 14/20 fret rosewood fingerboard with ornate pearl position inlays and abalone side dot inlays. It has a 25.5' ... morescale and a bone 1 11/16 nut. It ends in a rosewood headstock overlay with 3 per side Grover Rotomatic tuners and the inlaid Guild logo and chesterfield. There are virtually no cosmetic items to report; there is a ding the size of a pinhead on the lower side. Very slight signs of belt rash on the back and that is it. The only actual flaw is the missing end pin which apparently was taken out to be replaced with an end jack which is no longer installed. No modifications have been made to the guitar and obviosly the end pin can be easily replaced. This is a truly attractive instrument and a real Guild. It's classic good looks make it stand out in a crowd but it's the huge sound that will make other musicians heads turn. The included original vintage style hard case is also in near mint condition. The brass latches work perfectly. The black plush lining is soft and odor free and structurally it is solid as a rock. It is the ideal complement for this fine instrument and provides outstanding protection. Free shipping to lower 48 states.

Orchestra style fans take note: this is a vintage sweetie that has tonally aged to maturity and still plays like a dream. Fingerstyle players are gonna love the string response- the subtle but stinging snap that it has retained over the years. Strummers are gonna fall head over heels in love with the first position on this axe- it fits like a glove. Pickers will have a field day running up and down this neck. It is fast. Comfortable and ... moresmooth and the set up it's enjoying makes it easy to rip leads on. The tone is complex, rich and robust and this guitar projects very nicely. It has a very clear tone to it that most players will find extremely pleasing. This F30 Aragon is a no-issue vintage treasure. This vintage Orchestra style harkens from way back yonder in 1972. It is all original with the exception of the replaced compensated bone saddle and end pin. This model features a solid spruce top and upgraded Indian rosewood sides and back from the standard mahogany model. The mahogany neck has a wonderful rounded profile that's just deep enough to feel"substantial" by most players standards. Other features include an ebony fretboard with small pearl dot inlays. White body binding, tortoise pickguard, rosewood bridge, Guild sealed tuners and its original hard shell case. This 1972 Guild F-30 Aragon is in very good condition. The finish shows some light checking. There is a repaired center seam crack and there's a few light finish scratches particularly on the back. The neck has already been reset for you so there is no need to worry about that for the next couple of decades. There is

1979 Guild d35 Up for your consideration is a real nice Westerly built Guild D35. This was a one owner guitar bought new by the current owners father it shows light fretwear and does have a few marks and defects on the cosmetics but it is 100% structualy sound. It has strings on it that are probably 20 years old and I will restring it prior to it leaving. Even with the dead strings it sounds and plays amazing. It has a great aged color to the finish that is a deep amber and the back and sides are well matched. This was the best of times for Guild as far as hand crafted guitars. The case is beat up and has broken latches and handle but will work for shipping purposes. These are getting harder to find so dont let her get away! My starting bid is under current market value. To anyone who was watching I had the date wrong and it has been revised. ... moreShipping will be UPS actual cost and international bidding will be allowed but please contact me for a shipping quote prior to bidding. Shipping insurance will be required and will be in addition to the cost. Check my other auctions for more great stuff!

An incredible example of Guild workmanship- The latest and last of the Westerly Guilds! There's not much to say about this beauty. Except that she is pretty much flawless and is dying to be played! Action is superb, saddle is very high. No fret wear, not even a scratch on the pickgaurd. 2nd photo shows some very slight wood color variation around belly, not a stain or anything, but variance in color of spruce. Tone is typical of the old Guilds, subdued and woody. Ser# AD406182 doesn't seem to show up in Guild lookup tables, however, according to Guild/Fender rep, the guitar was made in 1999, Westerly RI. Guild F212XL 12-String Up for sale is a 1973 Gu ild F212XL Jumbo 12-Str ing guitar. This is a two owner guitar. The owner who we purchased it from has owned it since 1978. He had it repaired twice since purchasing it. I actually have the bill of sale for this guitar when the second owner bought it used from a shop on Long Island. N Y and I also have one of the repair bills. The repair work was done by Tatay& Son. Wh o were some of the b est guitar luthier s on Long Island at the time. Both repairs had to do with the neck joint and they were professionally and successfully repaired at the time. I just restrung this guitar with a fresh set up D'Addario 9 gauge Phosphor Bronze 12-String string s and the playability really isn't that bad a nd it stays in tune perfectly. The bridge had been replaced during one of the repairs. The bridge ... moreis still perfectly flat on the top and is not lifting at all. So the bridge replacement repair stuck well over the years. The gui tar has been sitting for some time and it would seem the neck is beginning to a ct up again. The playability above the 5th fret is a little tough. The action arou nd there begin s to get a little high. The neck is not straight. It is kind of' U' shaped(but not bad) and the double truss doe s not seem to be able to get it out. All this contributes to the action being high. The f irst f ew frets and the open position action is good and this guitar really is a CANNON. Very loud 12 str ing guitar. I tried to take pictures of the neck joint and the back of the neck. I also tried to show the action arou nd that area a s well; which is on the high side. The back of the neck has a long crack down the bass side of the neck. From the headstock to below the 5th fret. This crack had been repaire d and is stable however you can s till feel it if you run your ha nd down the back of the nec k. This guitar can definitely be played as is or you could bring it to a luthier and try to get it playing better. You can definitely strum some n ice open chords ou

I bought this guitar a year ago and had a strapjack installed for an LR Baggs M1 pickup. It has a 1/8" plug and should work with any pickup with 1/8" input. The guitar was marked used on the back of the headstock and has a small. Hardly noticable hairlinecrack repaired at the factory(see picture) It is a delightful playing and sounding guitar and I wouldn't have even thought of selling it except I recently had a chance to buy a Martin which has been a dream for many years. They are both small bodied and I don't need two so I'm gonna part with this one. It has only been out of the smokefree house a few times and is cosmetically exactly as it was when I bought it. It has been played and, to me, it sounds better now after a year of playing. The guitar listed for $1250 and is well worth that price. The neck has the feel ... moreof an electric, thin front to back with 1&3/4" nut. This Guild GAD30R features solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back. Sides and bridge. Maple binding and inlay, ebony fingerboard on mahogany neck, wood bindings, mother-of-pearl inlays, tortoise shell pickguard and abalone dot inlays. Vintage Guild SF-4. Starfire IV! Blonde, USA Made in 1979! Beautiful! SN#211750 I am reluctantly selling my Guild SF-4. I love this guitar but I haven't played it in a few years so I've decided to sell it to someone who can enjoy it as much as I used to. A real beauty with no major flaws. There is a crack in the binding near the third fret and no other issues other than a minor scuff at the top of the head. I can't speak for the electronics because I sold my amp quite a few years ago and haven't played it since at least 2007. It was services by Ithaca Guitar Works in 2003. THE PART I HATE-PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE A POST OFFICE BOX-UPS WILL NOT DELIVER TO THEM-PLEASE DO NOT BID WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST IF YOU HAVE 1. LESS THAN 10 PERFECT FEEDBACKS. 2. LIVE IN CANADA, 3. DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT WITH ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT-WE CAN WORK WITH THIS BUT I NEED T0 HEAR FROM YOU-THANKS. I keep a core collection of about 30 guitars and seldom sell out of it-then there's another 20 or so guitars i buy just to play for awhile and re-sell-usually i lose money on the re-sale so i look at the loss as the cost of renting the guitar of my interest-once in a while i'll clear a profit which is great-but i'm not a re-seller-at least not in the classic sense and if i were i'd probably be considered the world's worse since i usually lose money on the re-sale. But i do get to play a ... morewhole lot of interesting instruments. Being retired has its advantages. I make it a policy to never sell a guitar that has not been completely gone over by my luthier prior to offering it-i hate buying an instrument from someone who doesn't know about guitars but thinks that it looks pretty-i'm also not an expert-so i make sure everything i sell-unless otherwise noted-is cleaned. Polished, new strings, electronics checked and adjusted if necessary, frets checked, fretboard oiled, neck angle checked, intonation optimized(for my preferences) and black lighted for any previous repairs or damage by my luthier-this costs me $100 but it is well worth the peace of mind that comes with offering an instrument you know is going to be well received. If he finds something i either fix it or note it in the item description. Major Metal Axe-everyone knows these cake knife headstocks from the era of Big Hair Bands and metal guys are rediscovering them today-especially with the killer EMGs-I just never play this any more-don' t shred much at all although i love to listen to Cacaphony and Surfin with the Alien and Freak Kitchen- This one is in excellent condition with high gloss stil

This is a 1995 Guild DV52-NTS acoustic guitar made at the renowned Westerly. Rhode Island plant during the heyday of it's existence when it was putting out some of the highest quality acoustic and electric guitars available. And this model. The DV52 is widely believed to be one of the best sounding of all Guilds. I know this one is the best sounding and playing Guild I have yet owned(out of near a dozen. Including 3 D55's, and a sweet'70's D50) The reason being that the"V" stands for vintage. Owing to the bracing which has been scalloped on this model on essentially a D55 body with a D50 neck. Body is solid Rosewood. Top solid spruce, excellent ebony fretboard and natural abalone rosette. And this model is finished in a satin nitro. Which looks great and is very forgiving to shirt-buttons and pick swipes. The tone ... moreis excellent. The brace scalloping brings out the best in the bass of this dread, and that great honky Guild midrange fits in nicely with the bell-like trebles-made even sweeter with an upgraded bone saddle and nut. 18 years of playing has opened her up nicely and if you dig the Guild acoustic tone. It's here in spades. Sustain is great and action is low(with lots of saddle left) and plays very easily all the way up the neck. Playing fatigue is very minimal even with.013's(brand new set of D'Addario pb's just installed) Frets show light wear and have lots of life left. Neck straight and truss rod functioning properly. Original gold Grovers work great. Ebony bridge full height and is tight to the top all round. As is pickguard. K&K Pure Mini pickup is one of the best and sounds and works great. No issues which affect playability exist. Though over the years she has picked up her share of bumps and such. Pics tell most of the story-some light weather checks and general playwear on most surfaces-nothing heinous but should be noted. Few headstock nicks, light finish wear on neck sides and back. And a couple top cracks securely repaired and stable. All issues hav
For auction is a 1957 Guild Aristocrat M75 with very rare and only used in 1957 pearl script logo. Only a small number of these were produced with this logo. The guitar is all original with NO breaks or Repairs. The guitar is Hollow Body construction with a carved spruce top and Honduras Mahogany back and sides. The neck is straight with a slim profile and nice low action. Bridge is adjustable and frets have a lot of life. The guitar has wear and tear I'd rate it at very good. It comes in the original brown case which also has wear and tear.I hate selling it but my new daughter came with a big deductable. If your reading this auction you must know about these great Guild guitars. Intercontinental US shipping will be $ 60.00 shipping has gotten stupidly high.
This is a very well taken care of Corona California USA built Guild D25 which also comes with a Nice Roadrunner thickly padded gig bag(msrp $80.00) Made of All Solid woods*Clean D25's like this one are ever so increasingly harder and harder to find. Many are deeply planted in strong hand collections, players wont give them up and then they are passed on to the next generation in the same family. I'm a collector/player myself and I know what is important, in two words: Playability and Tone. This authentic unmodified unaltered Guild D-25 has crisp warm tone and that rare deep sea blue color! The string notes are tight and sustaining, the bass is evenly present but not dominating, the mids are clear and present without dominating the trebles, and the trebles are crisp and clear. It works well as a strummer or lead piece. The cosmetic ... morecondition shows it to be both attractive and clean, a solid 8.5/10 due to a few small finish contact marks here and there, obviously well taken care of and hardly ever played as evidenced by the NEAR ZERO FRET WEAR. The original Deep Sea Blue nitrocellulose satin finish is beautiful over the All SOLID Mahogany back and sides, yes all solid Mahogany(top, back, sides) as opposed to the Westerly guilds Arched laminate backs and spruce tops. Nice straight Mahogany neck with perfect neck angle with tight fully sealed Rosewood Bridge. I've owned and sold 100's and 100's of guitars, especially Guilds, this is a solid D25 Guild guitar, 100% solid and sound, Zero damage, Zero Issues, no modifications(no pickups or added strap buttons) all original: You only Live once so dont waste time thinking you can get the same playability and tonal qualities with a lesser priced guitar? In Guitars, you get what you pay for, in the search for True Acoustic Tone. You may find a cheaper Guild Dreadnought, but dont take a chance on one with issues like needing a neck reset $450+ or refret job $250+ or in need of crack repairs $100-$200+ or any other costly problems. This one is in Excell
Guild JF-55 12 string Scroll down for large pics Great Westerly R I model last of the golden era Guilds. An enthusiast who is looking for a player grade guitar. When talking about 12 Strings look no further than Guild. This model happens to have the desirable Rosewood back and sides. I just cant recall ever hearing a guitar that sounds like this. You'll have no trouble being heard(or noticed) with this Guild® F-150RCE 6-string acoustic-electric guitar in your hands. Thanks to Guild's combination of all solid tonewoods. A cutaway jumbo body, and an arched back, you'll get all the volume and projection you need for live gigs. This guitars's rich, bold tone comes courtesy of the solid Sitka spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. With its the fully bound mahogany neck. And the Fishman Sonolite pickup system, and you've got an impressive 6-string instrument for stage and studio. I was very impressed by the volume from the Guild F-150RCE. No doubt. This is thanks to the arched back, solid woods, and jumbo body style. When really“digging in” with a flatpick, the sound never became flattened and compressed. Fingerpicking yielded a clear, articulate voice that ... morewas broadly dynamic and responsive to the player's touch. We all know that the choice of top wood can make or break the sound of an acoustic guitar. For the F-150RCE. Guild chose a solid Sitka spruce top. Chosen as much for its look as its tone, solid spruce has a bold sound with excellent projection. And because it's a solid-wood guitar throughout, the tone of your F-150RCE will age gracefully. Even though it sounds great now, it will only improve with each passing year. The proven Fishman Sonolite pickup system on the F-150RCE features an under-saddle transducer with an end-pin mounted active preamp. It is clean. Clear, and very quiet, giving the performer superior onstage sound with exceptional headroom. The controls are inside the soundhole, making it easy to dial in your sound and avoiding mounting a tone-sucking preamp onto the guitar's shoulder. This guitar looks perfect. It has no player's wear whatsoever. I have tested and adjusted the truss rod. I conditioned the fretboard.now it is silky smooth and deliciously chocolatey. The electronics were tested and work perfectly. I polished the frets and lubed the nut slots. I just gave it a fresh set of phosph

This is an outstanding hollow body jazz box that we aquired at the 2009 NAMM show in Anaheim CA. a very high quality instrument. And only the best of the best, make it to Namm. This has a maple top with mahogany back and sides, an Ice tea sunburst finish that looks amazing! with a maple neck, ebony fretboard, re logo'ed by me with a factory Guild emblem. I could'nt stand the name on there before,Dreambow(wtf) very well done. it has a dual humbucker pickup setup that sound's warm and toneful, gold hardware,Bigsby bridge with roller saddles. and grover closed back tuners.A beautiful ebony slab fretboard with polished jumbo frets, and mother of pearl inlays, mother of pearl binding that looks soo cool! if this one does'nt sell Im keeping it for my collection. this is hand crafted in Korea, not communist China,at the same factory ... morethey make many models of fender washburn and jackson/charvel amoung other guitars, the quality of workmanship coming out of the Korean factory now equals or surpasses the best Japanese factory's from the 80's,and 90's. The sustain on this guitar is very good, and it will hold notes for days! This guitar is very high quality, professional grade, well balanced, and will stay in tune, sound good, and look great, for generations. this guitar is far and away nicer than any gretsch electromatic. same size as a white falcon. 17 1/2" across and 2 1/2" deep. come's with a hardshell case, I will pack it well and ship it quickly. remember this guitar is used by me so its not perfect, but close. so look carefully, thanks. if you have less than 10 positive feedback email before bidding. thanks
Hello. Up for sale is my beloved little Guild M65. I have always had a weakness for 3/4 size guitars. And I purchased this one to keep at the office, to mess around with in the early mornings and late evenings before things got really busy. I thought someday I might add a minihumbucker at the bridge of this little cutie(I am a part-time luthier and build a small number of guitars each year on a consignment basis) Because of the old headstock repair. I figured I wouldn't feel so much like I was raping a little bit of guitar history by altering it. Well, I enjoyed it so much as is, that I left it alone. The headstock repair is very solid, although there was little attempt to camouflage the crack by repairing the actual finish, so the finish remains original. You can feel it very slightly when playing, but it doesn't bother me at all, ... moreand has been quite stable. There is a small chip off of the high E-string saddle. So the action is a bit lower than the other strings. It buzzes a little with the other strings set at a nice height. I will repair it for you with a small piece of rosewood and rosewood-colored epoxy at no extra charge, but plan on an extra 2 weeks before shipping if you take me up on that offer. As you can see from the pictures. There is some wear, with a few chips on the top, and chips along the edges, mostly along the lower bout, on the back. There are numerous shallow scratches(more like indentations, without going through the finish) on the mahogany back. The electronic work fine. And it sounds great. The guitar is all original as far as I can tell. The case is fine. With no smells. All of the latches work. There is definitely wear, with lifting of the binding along the edges. It looks old and cool, not abused. If you ever decide to sell it. Please email me, and I will probably buy it back for the price you paid, once we feel like we won't be homeless sending our eldest to college. I love this little guitar.
Guild& Gretch Best of the 70's GUILD D-25. 1972 Vintage steel-string Serial# 71605 Mahogany flat-top guitar Great light touch Beautiful condition A pleasure to play GRETCH CASE Outstanding Hard-Shell Collector's case Excellent condition May consider selling separately See my perfect feedback and bid with confidence!
Vintage 1965 Guild Aragon F-30 with what appears to be the original chipboard case. This guitar is in good condition with typical signs of use such as light scratches. Dings, and pick-wear. There are two hairline cracks in the back. The bridge has been shaved and there is“lifting” slightly in the middle. The bridge is not actually lifting, there’s just a gap in the middle. It stays tight to the body when played and has probably been like this for years. The action is good and she plays well up the neck. Frets show light wear with plenty of meat left. The case is intact but rough. This guitar is solid, sounds and plays fantastic, and would have certainly made Mississippi John Hurt proud! If you're looking for a solid investment that you can also have fun with. Look no further. Call(864) 344-2948 for in-hand description. Let's make ... morea deal! Pictures below are representative of the way the guitar looks in person. I can be reached at LuckyGuitar(dot) com. Check out my entire inventory and my blog. United States shipments will be sent UPS Ground insured for full value. International shipments will be sent via USPS Priority International. I will pack this guitar with great care. If you're not completely satisfied with this guitar. You can return it for a complete refund. Buyer pays return shipping. Please note: PayPal only. You are bidding on a Guild D40 Bluegrass Jubilee. This guitar was made in 2006. On dec 13th and was the 4th one made that day in the Tacoma Washington Factory( according to the serial number) It has the Seymour Duncan Dtar sytem build in for the electronics. The guitar is in good shape and has a few dings in the finish( see pics) The guitar has been played tested and the neck is responsive to adjustments. The guitar has grover tuners and come with the original factory case with manual and warranty card. This is a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides. A classic of a guitar and should be a part of anyones collection! Some Info on the DTar from Dtar website: We've teamed up with Guild® to release a special version of the Wave-Length™ with a revolutionary battery access system called Load‘N Lock™. As you probably already ... moreknow. The Wave-Length combines a thin, piezo transducer with an 18-volt, low-noise preamp. Eighteen volts translates to twice the headroom and dynamic range of a typical 9-volt system, allowing a player to strum extra hard without experiencing dreaded piezo“quack. To derive its 18 volts. The Wave-Length merely requires two standard“AA” batteries and a proprietary voltage power booster. But perhaps the most striking innovation is our new, patent-pending, Load‘N Lock system, which allows quick and easy“AA” battery changes. Simply unscrew the endpin“collar, remove the old batteries, and pop in the new ones. A quarter turn of the collar is all you need to lock them in place. The Wave-Length pickup, with Load‘N Lock battery access, is exclusively available on all Guild acoustic/electric guitars. $ 25.00 ground shipping.
