This is a one of a kind. Custom telecaster style partscaster, frankencaster. A customer of mine(I do custom leather work for just about everything) brought ... morein this puppy in and had a pretty specific vision for a western style leather telecaster. I completed it(along with a telecaster body and stratocaster pickguard that are for sale separately) and he could not pay for all of the work I had done so we worked out a deal(he kept the leather wrapped acoustic, I kept the rest. Onto the details about the custom work on the guitar. As you can see it has a hand tooled full grain american cowhide leather pickguard, wood scrollwork stained inlay below the bridge, a western style concho attached to the face of the guitar the headstock has a hand tooled leather covering. The pictures do not do the leatherwork justice. The guitar itself is a true partscaster. As I said earlier, the dude who's guitar this was had it custom built by a guitar tech buddy of his using various parts. I believe the body and neck are from an sx, which makes me think some of the parts might be as well(the backplate gives me that feeling since it says sx) I know that the neck pickup is a vintage fender lace sensor and that the guitar was rewired to give additional boost to the bridge and neck pickups, while diminishing output from the middle setting on the controls(the bridge/neck combo) The action feels good and the tone is pretty incredible from what I can tell. I will remove the neck for shipping.I simply find it to the be safest manner for shipment because it reduces chance of cracking the neck. Stripping the screws, warping the truss rod, and allows me to pack everything more securely.and saves all of us money. If you have any concerns about that, please let me know. I took pictures of every possible angle I could think would be important. But if there are more you need, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll get em out to you. Thanks for looking and be sure to check out my other auctions. Posted with.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p

2009 Custom Shop Telecaster neck. Heavy relic 52' tele neck. Chunky"C" contour. Nice playing. Perfect condition and high quality. I purchased ... morethis in 2009 and have used it continually with no issues. It is a wonderful, rare, chance to purchase a neck that you normally would see on a $3,000-$5,000 Fender Custom Shop guitar. Never found one as nice, on or off a guitar for sale. I am selling off some of my gear collection. I have too many guitars and need to sell some select high end items. I also have a 52' Hot Rod body in great shape at another listing. Thanks

Relisted as the previous buyer changed their mind on the purchase. Up for auction is a 1972 Electra 2248WC Telecaster in great shape. The paint color ... moreis a pretty unique iridescent metallic white that changes color to blues and pinks based on angle and lighting. Features a solid mahogany body and three piece maple neck. The pickups are original Maxon stamped Type 2. The neck pickup sounds really full and loud. The fretboard markers are actually real abalone. From my knowledge. The strap buttons(Schaller Locking) input jack, pots, knobs, pickup selector, two saddle height screws, nut, string tree and high E tuner post bushing have been replaced. Mostly just minor stuff really. I'm not sure about the fretboard finish and its originality. It is a really nice vintage amber, but the glossy surface is a bit wavy. It looks to me that. It was resealed a long time ago. It's a cosmetic issue but doesn't affect playability. Kind of gives it a cool vintage vibe. There is a chip on the top exposing the purple iridescent undercoat. The edges have some minor chipping too. The neck pocket has two finish hairline cracks. They are not into the wood. Serial number is stamped on the small plate as"0153" The neck is straight and not warped. Truss rod functions as it should. Frets are low and wide and have only minor grooving. Very clean overall and from a smoke free home. The 1972 Electra catalog scans show a 2248WC as a cream white and with the"coke bottle" covered bridge. As far as I can tell. The color looks to be original. I've taken the guitar apart and looked for remnants of cream paint. Even the areas where the paint is chipped show the purple undercoat directly above the wood. If someone did paint the guitar, it must have been sanded completely. The paint is nice and looks factory, so it is tough to say. In regards to the bridge, there were a few Electras that didn't have the covered style. When removing the bridge, there aren't any modifications or extra holes drilled that indicate

Details. 1971 Fender Telecaster Here's an amazing and all original 1971 Tele that even includes the original ashtray bridge cover and a clean original hard case! Really. If you're going to grab a Telecaster, how could it be anything but blonde? This one is fairly opaque but you can see the grain better in person. Sounds like good Tele should as well. Nice and snappy even before you plug her in. Very resonant too, it really comes to life in your hands. This pickup set gets the"thumbs up" too. It's got that famous Tele twang and has some good spank too. Love the middle position on this one. All is original, including the frets but they've got lots of life left in them. This was one well loved Telecaster and has been kept very clean over the years. The only area with anything beyond light nicks and scratches is on the ... moreback where there are some deeper"belt-buckle" type marks. No matter your game, this Tele has some serious soul. Perfect for rock, blues, country and everything in between. We are more than happy to email you high resolution photos upon request. Please call or email to request them. 1962 Fender Vintage Telecaster Refinished but very good job! Brazilian Rosewood board With Clay dot markers Today we have a very nice 1962 fender Telecaster up for sale. A very nice warm toned guitar that is feather light. We believe it to be swamp ash. As it weighs a mere 6.5 lbs! The fretboard looks to be a slab board to my knowledge. I will run it by a pro who has been selling vintage guitars for over 30 years. The frets have been replaced and a bone nut was professionally made. Also. The back of the headstock had light repair work done on it. Including, filling old tuner holes& some light splintering. They did all this at Dan Erlewings guitar shop. Prior to my purchase of this fine awesome telecaster in 2007. Over $700 was put into this guitar to make it play really incredibly. probably better then most 1962 Tele's out there. ... moreAs most of what really matters. Besides the finish& frets&nut. Is true to form. The back of the neck has the typical ware of a 50 year instrument. That has that Booker T& The MG's sound! Just a incredible vintage tone that drips with all that mojo! Any guitar that is refinished this magnificently is. Hard to find. they did a incredible job. Bringing out a very nice trans finish. like I said this is a great players Tele, that fits into the collectors pallete, As old wood is good wood! The soldier joints& everything with the electronics are original. the wiring made it possible. Back in the day to switch the pick up to the neck position& make it mimic a bass. I kept the soldier joints intact. So all this is origiginal, as far as the electronics. Body, neck& original hard shell case. So if you are in the market for an amazing sounding& playing guitar with collectibility. This one just might be for you. Nice vintage tone possibilities with a lot of collectibility as well. SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR& BUY IT NOW! The neck measurements are: 1 9/16 at the nut 2" at the 12th fret The Guitar weighs 6 1/2 Lbs. We take a lot of pictures. So if you need ext
2011 Fender Classic 60's Telecaster Relic Made by Fender in Mexico. These faithful tributes to 60's era Telecasters are easy on the eyes and loaded with 60's mojo. But there was just one problem: they look too new! The 60's Fender Classic Series guitars are fantastic. But I wanted a worn-in look so I spent a good bit of time putting 50 or so years of stage wear on a year-old guitar. I thinned down the poly coat and added appropriate wear to the guitar while not adding actual wear and tear to the instrument. It feels and looks like a played-in guitar but it is barely a year old! Sure you could take it further and age the metal bits and what not-I'll leave that up to the next owner. Reason I'm selling-simple. I'm a Strat guy. I love the idea of a Telecaster. But I need to move this one to a new home so I can get ... moreanother Strat! Other than the relic treatment and the addition of a Genuine Fender Round switch tip. The guitar is original and stock. 100% Fender. These sell fast at $799 thru various online music stores and are currently unavailable. Road Worn Telecasters are over $800. This one is one of a kind. Check out the photos-the guitar really looks great and plays like a dream with great tone and resonance. Fretware is almost non-existant and the neck is straight. The guitar weighs just over 8 pounds on my scale. The action and intonation are excellent. It's ready to play. Shipped carefully in the Fender Deluxe Gig Bag. Feel free to ask questions. Or if you have a cool strat or les paul jr.let me know about your guitar. Thanks! Posted with

In this auction we have a mi-80's Fender blue floral Telecaster.MIJ,not CIJ.MIJ.Lets turn back the clock.Back in 1986 when Fender Japan was still new I bought this Tele in Hamilton,NJ from my fave music store and it was used, but only for like 2 weeks so it was almost new and very clean. These guitars were the mate to the pink paisley and were made in VERY limited numbers, rare. This guitar saw alot of action and I played THROUGH the original neck, grinded the frets to nothing and wore the finish off the thing,so.in the haze known as the 90's at some point I replaced it with an almost mint neck, also MIJ and from another floral Telecaster, then I started to play other guitars and put it away for awhile. The body has playing wear and has some dings and dents but it still shines and looks super. The original pickups are long gone and were replaced ... morebecause they were garbage. In their place now stands Fender Custom shop pickups also from the 90's that rock.rrrrrrreal hard.I recently put a new PU selector switch,Fender replacement parts, and I have the original long switch tip AND the ashtray bridge cover. It didn't have an original 80's molded case when I bought it,but it does now.The case is period correct and functions fine but is cosmeticly challenged, looks like someone spray painted somthing on top of it.in red.If you know what this is,you already want one, here you go!Don't pay until you recieve an invoice from me so I can get an exact shipping total for you, this way nobody loses*All items sold as is,no refunds or returns. If you do not have Paypal and a confirmed address do not bid.Buyer pays shipping and handling.International always costs more, foreign bidders must also understand that overseas shipping takes a long time, costs more and somtimes cannot be tracked or safe arrival garanteed. We are not responsible for customs fees. All items sold as is,no refunds or returns.

Up for no reserve auction is my original 1966 Fender Telecaster. This particular guitar plays beautifully with low action and sounds amazing killer with a great set of original pickups that have not been rewound. All of the electronics. Pots, cap, jack and wiring are 100% original to this guitar. The original CTS pots are coded 137 6642. But at one time the previous owner had a humbucker installed in the neck position but fortunately kept the original pickup and original pickguard which have been put back on. Also the Ash body finish was removed and is down to the sealer. You can still see the factory Fender Blond in the cavities and the filled nail holes Fender uses to hold up the body when they spray it. The contours also still look great. The neck is 100% original including the finish and is dated Feb 66B. With that being said the rest ... moreof this guitar is original with no other repairs or modifications. The back of the maple neck has some nice figuring and some flame going on. All the hardware is original including the bridge, saddles, screws, springs, neckplate, control plate, knobs and strap buttons etc. The keys are original and have never been off, but the end key is slightly shinier but original. The Brazilian fretboard is absolutely gorgeous with original nut and frets in great shape with lots of life left, neck is straight and the truss rod functions properly with low action. It has been setup and intonated. The neck measures 1" 5/8th at the nut. The serial number is 155315 stamped into the F neck plate. These pickups still have that great early Fender Pre CBS tone being from this period the neck pickup reads 5.94K and the bridge reads 6.24K at the output jack a nice balance. Included is a later Fender USA molded hardshell case in good condition with all latches, hinges and handle intact and working properly. This is a killer example of a 1966 Fender Telecaster you won't be afraid to play or want to put down! This guitar will be insured accordingly against damage. Winning bidder takes it all! Tha
Vintage 1974 Fender Tele Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar Walnut Finish w/ HSC Vintage 1974 Fender Tele Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar Walnut Finish w/ HSC Welcome to Musicdungeon. You are bidding on an amazing Fender guitar- the Telecaster Deluxe. The telecaster deluxe was introduced in 1972 as fender's introduction to the humbucker guitar market. The original vintage humbuckers in telecasters like this sound like no other humbucker on the market today. Fender's"wide range humbuckers" as they are known have a tight bass response, balanced mids, and crisp highs. Even in the neck position, these pickups are very clear and full of tone unlike many other humbuckers that can get too muddy. This telecaster deluxe features a poplar body in a beautiful walnut finish. With an overall weight of 9.5lbs, vintage humbuckers, and ... morea string-thru body design, this guitar pushes amplifiers like a Les Paul giving you a powerful but surprisingly crisp tone. As you can see in the pictures, the pickups date to 1974, as does the serial number. The only non-original part of this guitar is the neck which was replaced with a 1987 telecaster neck. Aside from some wear on the body and neck(shown in pictures) this guitar is in excellent playing condition. It sets up extremely well and plays like a dream. This guitar also includes a brand new Guardian hardshell case. This is your chance to play an amazing vintage Fender guitar- this 1974 Telecaster Deluxe! This is a no reserve auction. Mid 80's Squier Telecaster MIJ Up for your consideration is this well played Tele. I did not take the neck off of it to date it as it was set up so well. Its SN is E636428 and it has a few scratches in the headstock. Thay can be seen in pictures 6 and 7. The one in picture 6 is more like a deep scratch. It can be seen by the B tuning machine. There are also afew chips in the paint leaving the wood exposed. Picture 7 shows one of them. The other chip I am talking about is just below the top loader bridge and can be seen in picture 8. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MINT GUITAR THIS IS NOT IT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLAYER THAT YOU CAN GIG WITH AND SOUND GOOD WITH AND NOT WORRY ABOUT WEAR AND TEAR. THEN THIS IS IT! Baby. We were born to run! This is the one you've been waiting for! This Telly has barely made it out of the house in the close to 40 years that I've owned it. Everything about it is as it was in 1978. From the electronics to the natural wood-grained finish to the custom case to the owner's manu al. The guitar was professionally tuned up in San Diego. Ca lifornia in 2011 and hasn't left its case since. Absolutely NOTHING has been touched to contaminate the puri ty of this musical instrument since it left the factory in F ullerton. California in 1978. This is the one! The price includes custom packing.

Relisted with some new information is an original 1966-67 Fender Telecaster. Made in Fullerton California right after CBS acquired the company from Leo Fender. After having four guys from one of the top vintage guitar shops in the country spend almost 2 hours examining it. The consensus is that this was refinished rather than a custom color. The paint is dark red with a metallic shimmer(not big metal flakes or metallic base coat) The refin is old and worn but professionally done enough that the experts needed to spend a lot of time to verify that it was refinished. The date on the neck is November 1966. There is not a date code in the neck pocket, the serial number is from 1967, the date code on the pots is from 1966. One of the experts told me that the way the tone cap was soldered may indicate that the pots are from a'66 strat. Its ... morea light guitar, the whole guitar with neck, hardware, etc weighs 6.2 lbs. There is typical finish wear/chipping around the edges of the body, the neck feels great. Both pickups are strong and thick. the pots and switch are quiet, the tuners are smooth. This guitar comes with the original hard case. The case has a few small missing tolex spots that appear to be colored in with marker, the fender logo on the case is in very good condition and the handle and latches are all good too. The frets were leveled and dressed recently. This is a sweet playing guitar with all kinds of mojo. Shipping is $35 in the US. Email me with any questions or for international rates. Posted with

Here is a superb James Burton signature model Telecaster. I own the entire collection of them and they are easily the coolest Telecasters ever made. This one is the one I've personally played the most. Yet it's in AMAZING condition. Only the slightest bit of the gold plating worn off of the"A" bridge saddle only. Go figure. lol It's in great shape, only a hint of slight marks on the back that are not bad at all. I've seen new guitars with more than this one has on the back. I'd HONESTLY rate the condition as a 9.5 of 10. Electronics are perfect. The three Lace Sensors sound amazing. Blue in the neck(sounds like a P-90) Silver in the middle(hotter output than a typical Strat pickup and an added bit of midrange in it for added presence) and the Red in the bridge(hotter output with a hint of humbucking tone to it.really ... morelets you know you've got it in that position for a REASON) These original versions have the Poplar bodies(they switched to Basswood bodies in 2006) The year on this one is actually a 1996(has the 50th year Fender decal on the back of the headstock) Fender made a TON of the 1994 serial numbered James Burton necks and EVERY SINGLE MODEL they made since 1994 used these necks.all the way through 2008! Strange but true. I've got a few of those too. So. Don't let the N4 serial number fool you. Comes with original Tweed hardshell case that is USED, same as the guitar, but the case has done its job and kept the guitar looking stellar. So, you can see a few normal marks on the case. No chips, no funny business at all. Exceptionally clean axe that has easily been my GO TO axe for the past few years. I'm simply selling my collection of a couple hundred axes to afford a lot less guitars, but ones with HUGE price tags.so, sentimental value has to go out the window. I have the other one just like this that has the Red Paisley design on the front, which is a 1989 version(also going up for sale at the same time as this one) it's the one I'm using in the video bel

The playability of this guitar is outstanding. If speed is your thing, it will play as fast as you can make it go and never slow you down or get in your way. It is extremely smooth from all angles- the shape of the neck, the edges on the top and the contour of the back. It is also as tremendous sounding as it is comfortable to play. The tone is classic with tons of the full bodied Tele flavor we ... moreall love. It has a tight fat low end, radiant mids and a gleaming high end that will always cut through but without the"icepick in the forehead" tone that can be found on lesser models. It's hard to imagine how Fender packs so much guitar into this price range but somehow they do it. This is a hot axe! This American Standard Telecaster has some nice features to brag about. Starting with the Alder body and a 3 Color Sunburst high gloss finish. This Tele is a stunning guitar on looks alone. The maple neck features a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. The combination of the Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele Single Coil Pickup in the neck position and the Custom Shop Broadcaster pickup in the bridge brings tons of glistening grit to this axe's stellar tone. An American Tele Bridge with standard bent steel saddles and a stamped brass plate also help this Tele to ring out loud and clear. The bridge is nicely complemented by the set of Fender Deluxe staggered tuners. This combo makes for rock solid intonation, tone and tuning stability. Other fine appointments on this model include a 4 bolt neck plate with Micro Tilt, hand roll

For sale is an early 90's blue American made Telecaster. I think I bought it around 1994 and am the original owner. Very unique color. It has the Danny Gatton model Joe Barden pickups. Installed with custom switching which allows for coil splitting. All other parts are original. There are chips in the paint on the side of the guitar near the bridge. Also, there is some cosmetic damage to the fretboard, there are two triangular shaped chips below the 6th string on frets 5 and 6. There is some lacquer damage on several areas of the neck. Although this do not affect the sound or playability. It is very noticeable, although they might be difficult to see in the photos. There is also a small gouge on the back of the neck near the 7th fret. I have been playing guitar for 40 years, and these blemishes do not affect the guitar's playability ... morein any way, but I want to be very clear that they are there and the guitar will be sold as is. Love this guitar, but I'm buying a PRS and need the cash! Remember, just the pickups are $300.00. They sound great! And the coil splitting is a real plus.

Details. 1972 Fender Tele Bass Fender's 70s iteration of the Telecaster bass with a humbucker in the neck position for tons of warmth and bottom end. We're in love with this bass. It plays amazing with a killer neck on it, and sound good even before you get it plugged in. This one is rare in a white finish though the paint has mellowed out to more of a cream color now. There are wear marks in the paint throughout but it is just cosmetic. This bass is all original with no cracks, breaks, repairs or mods. The neck is very straight and the frets still have good height to them. Whomever lands this bass is going to be very, very happy. You are bidding on a set of 2 original 47 year old Fender guitar or bass solid shaft 250 K Stackpole pots. These came from a 1966 Fender Musicmaster guitar. But would be correct for many, many different models of Fender guitars and basses from this era. These pots DO NOT WORK. Because they have shafts that are frozen. If you can get them to spin again, they should work fine. NO RETURNS. Although capacitor is broken. I wouldn't be surprised if it still worked. I don't know. Both Pot codes read 3046618. Kitty not included. Shipping is $5 in the USA. $6 in Canada, and $8 everyplace else. CHECK MY AUCTIONS for more VINTAGE GUITAR PARTS!

Fender Telecaster Bass December 1969 Neck Date Third Week 1970 Pickup Date Solid Maple Neck w/Nickel Tuners A Transition Telecaster Bass Laquer Body Half Cloth Wire. Half Plast-Coat Wire I love Tele Basses and have owned 20+ of these first version(single coil pickup) Telecaster Basses. Fender started 1st Version Telecaster Bass production with Tele Basses marked with a March 1968 neck date. And made batches right through late 1971. This bass marks a transition in the Tele Bass with laquer body finish. A 1960's feature, half cloth wires, and half plastic coated wires, the cloth wires are a 1960's feature, and the PlastiCoat Wires are a 1970's feature. The neck end is a coded green ink stamped number system that Fender used late 60's-early 70's. The 23 means it's a Tele Bass Neck, the next three digits are 526 and nobody ... moreknows what those numbers represent, the 12 and 9 means 12th month of 1969, and the C means a neck width of 1.75" This corresponds nicely with the pickup which is stamped 0370 for 3rd week of 1970. The serial number 284949 would also correspond to very early 1970. The pots are dated 42nd week of 1966, typical for all Fender instruments through approx 1971. CBS bought Fender in 1965, and they initiated cost cutting measures. They made a mass purchase of pots during the first year after they bought Fender, and it took until 1971 to use up all the 1966 pots they bought. First version Tele Basses are almost identical to a 1954-55 Precision Bass. And Tele Basses were built using the original 1950's Precision Bass jigs. These first version reissues are the closest to a 1954-55 Precision Bass as can be had, for less than half of the $10,000+ that an original 1954-55 P Bass would sell for. Disclosure of Facts: The Original Case is not present. Body Finish is shiny and looks great. And has no big flaws front or rear, but has the normal edge dings and weather checking you'd expect on a 42 year old bass. Body rear looks great, with no buckle rash. Everything else on this ba
Fender Telecaster Bass 1971 Like a 1954 Precision Bass Last of the First Series Telecaster Bass with Single Coil Pickup Excellent Clean Original Condition w/ Original Hard Case Only 8 lbs 15 oz w/ Covers Like a 1954 Precision Bass Reissue I love Tele Basses and have owned more than 20 of these first version 1954 Telecaster Reissues. Fender started Telecaster Bass production in March 1968. And made batches through late 1971. For the 1972 model year, Fender decided to put the infamous Fender Humbucking Bass Pickup in place of the venerable single coil pickup that was used from 1954 until late 1971. This 1971 Tele Bass has a neck date of August 1971. Making it among the last of the original First Version Telecaster Basses made. Pots date 19th week of 1971. One owner bass is in excellent original condition. First version Tele Basses were built ... morefrom the original 1950's P-Bass jigs. So these first version reissues are closest to their early 50's origins, and are a great alternative to the Mega Multi Thousand Dollar Originals. Description: International buyer's must check with us about shipping before buying this item. Squier Bullet Fender Telecaster HSS vintgae 1980's. This is a kind of obscure Squier from the 1980's. The body is single cutaway similar to a Telecaster but a little sharper and the neck is a one piece maple Stratocaster style. The pickup configuration is humbucker. Single coil, single coil with a 5 way selector. This guitar plays very well and the one piece maple neck is very responsive, harmonics jump right out. There is no marking on this guitar to indicate where it was made but it seems these were made in Korea. The tone is mostly bright due to the one piece maple neck/fingerboard but it does have a decent lower midrange too which sweetens it up and keeps it from being too sharp. After playing for a few minutes you'll want to ... moretry some Billy Gibbons. Robin Trowler or Stevie Ray licks. This thing seems to want to play aggressive blues. The neck/mid pickup combination is especially sweet for that sort of thing. The bridge humbucker is nice and hot so if harder rock or metal is your thing this will do that pretty well too. Overall the sound is very clear and the notes all sound strong, again it's all about that maple neck. This guitar is used and it has some wear and tear on it. Most of the wear is in the form of superficial scratches on the top and back. Nothing too deep. The neck is straight and the action is low so it plays very comfortably. Everything pictured is included in the listing. If you have any questions or comments about a transaction please email us through our EBAY ACCOUNT. Not our yahoo email address. The guitar is in EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT condition. There are absolutely no marks on the body or neck. This is one of the first 1500 produced, so it has the Revolution Rock neckplate. Includes Fender gig bag. From Fender®'s Artist Series. This Telecaster features an alder body with a maple"C" shape neck, rosewood fingerboard and 2 vintage style single-coil Tele® pickups with alnico magnets. Designed in cooperation with the Strummer estate. The Joe Strummer electric guitar has a highly distressed"road-worn" treatment that duplicates the original's worn-to-the-wood layers of gray auto primer and flat black spray paint. It also features a"Revolution Rock" engraved neckplate and a limited edition art customization kit that includes Strummer-inspired ... morestencils, stickers and graphics by designer Shepard Fairey. Strummer was. Of course, the Clash's articulate and fiery co-founder, lyricist, rhythm guitarist and lead singer; he later founded, recorded and toured with the Mescaleros. All his life, he vigorously championed individuality, self-expression and change-tenets often reflected in the constantly altered look of his favorite instrument-his Telecaster(currently on display in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland) an otherwise standard'60s-era model with all the original parts and specifications. When Strummer bought it in 1975 for é120. The guitar had a Three-color Sunburst finish. He was having none of that, of course, but his improvised DIY gray and black"finishes" deteriorated quickly, giving the Telecaster its distinctive look. Like Strummer's music, the battered electric guitar changed constantly-plastered as it was with stencils, stickers and new paint jobs through the many stages of Strummer's life and career. To celebrate Strummer's fierce sense of individuality. Fender and acclaimed artist Shepard Fairey collaborated on the new guitar's limited edition Joe

This is a vintage 1973 Ampeg Heavy Stud electric guitar manufactured in Japan during the law suit era. It features a dense laminate body to give it a really solid tone and lots of sustain and unlike most of the Ampeg guitars in this series that have two similar pickups. This has a single coil bridge pickup that has a nice clean, sharp tone and a super hot humbucker neck pickup that honestly sounds like it's either active or pre-amped, I've never heard a pickup with punch like this, even at low volume! This set up is very flexible and gives great versatility in sound options. The guitar was in pristine condition when I stored it in the utility room of my house. then the water heater tank decided to give out leaving me with 2 inches of water on the floor. The guitar was in it's case but the water still got in and wet the upper corner ... moreof the lower bout. The dye in the case liner material seeped onto the guitar and stained the finish as can be seen in the photos. The wood grain also swelled slightly in that area so now I guess you would call it a relic. The good news is the issue is only cosmetic, the guitar is still as solid as a rock, the electronics work great and it plays like it always did, it was also just strung with a brand new set of D'adarrio strings. So please look closely at the photos to decide if you're OK with the stained area before bidding, if you are this is an awesome sounding vintage instrument selling with no reserve, and if you choose, it could easily be refinished in a color to really resemble a Telecaster, thanks for looking! FENDER Vintage(72- 78) Telecaster Wide Range Thinline/Custom/Deluxe Guitar Pickup. This is the“Wide Range” pick up Seth Lover deigned for Fender. It was deployed in the“DeLuxe” ThinLine” and“Custom” models of Telecaster guitars manufactured between 1972 and 1978. There were no“variants” as far as I am aware. IOW, all those pick ups were pretty much the same, as far as construction goes. After all CBS was in charge by this time. This Pick Up is correct for any of those models from that period. This Bill Crook Custom Guitar is in perfect working condition it was built in 2006 for a studio musician in Nashville and has been very well cared for. It is set up with Medium Jumbo Fret's. An Adder Neck Pickup, and a Lindy Fralin Bridge Pickup with a 3 way switch with the standard Telecaster positions. It has a Quilted Maple Top and a Sparkle finish back with a AAA Birdeye Maple Neck. I purchased it about six month's ago and have used it sparingly. I am selling it only because I cannot seem to adjust to the shape of the neck. It is the standard C shaped neck that runs the length of the neck. My other guitar's both have the Compound Radius Necks like on the Fender American Deluxe Telecaster. I don't feel it is practical to purchase a new neck for the guitar as it would defeat the purpose of owning a Bill Crook Custom Guitar ... moreright. The guitar will be double boxed and shipped with the strap locks for the McVay G Bender system. The strap is not included unless it is made part of or deal. Candy Apple Red Tex-Mex Tele Special from 1996. The finish has aged in a way I can't recall seeing on other guitars. And no one has ever given me a definitive answer as to its cause. The top coat is smooth- all of what looks kinda like weather checking is actually happening underneath, in the pigmented layer of the paint. These pics represent the look very accurately. Previously routed and wired for a Nashville set-up(Strat middle pickup) but I've returned it to stock for the sale. That means a Fender Humbucker(can't recall the exact model they were using in'96) and a Tex-Mex Tele pickup in the bridge. The bridge pickup is overwound. Which helps it balance with the humbucker a bit better and can push you into more aggressive tones a bit more easily than something with a lower output. 5-Way switch splits the HB in positions ... more2 and 4, so you've still got access to an approximation of traditional Tele pickup arrangements. Fender gig bag included.
