Course Info
The race will begin at Pottsboro High School and travel 1.55 miles down Katy Lane to a turn around point and come back to the High School. Koop's Kids’ Run will be approximately one mile around the school.
Packet Pick Up
Race packets will be available Thursday, May 7 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Brookshires in Pottsboro. Packets will also be available on race day from 8:00-8:30 a.m.
T-Shirts
All entrants who register on or before April 24 will be guaranteed to receive an event t-shirt. Entrants after this date will receive a t-shirt as long as supplies last.
Awards
Medals for the 5K will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in each age group and also to the overall fastest male and female. All registrants in the Koop's Kids’ Run will receive a kids’ medal.

The "The Battle of Waterloo III - 5K/10K Trail Run" will be run on the scenic trails of Waterloo Lake Regional Park in Denison. The terrain of the trail varies form wide to narrow, ... morethere are some moderate climbs and descents, and many natural obstacles. 10K participants will complete 2 loops of the course. Runners and walkers are welcome. The race will be timed by Chip 2 Chip Race Timing. Sign Up early and recieve a race t-shirt on race day. Groups of 10+ contact the Denison Parks and Recreation office at 903-465-2720 ext. 2033 for group registration.

A portion of the proceeds of the race will benefit the Meals on Wheels program of Denison.
The race will take place, rain or shine. In the event of extreme circumstances and the event has to be canceled there will be NO refunds given. A portion of your race entry will be donated to the Meals of Wheels program of Denison.
We will have cash prizes for the top male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K. We will have awards for the Top 3 in each age group for the 5K and awards for the Top 5 overall in the 10K. We will also give away many great door prizes.

Bibs and Shirts for those that Pre-Register will be avaliable for pickup on Friday, 4-1-15 at the Waterloo Lake Building from 4PM-7PM.
