1934 C.G.Conn Transitional Tenor Saxophone Original Lacquer w/ Rolled TH and Naked Lady Engraving serial# M262419. This Horn has aprox 30% of the original ... moredark honey finish but basically it is a hand worn Raw Brass finish all original lac and neck. plays great super warm dark sound. The horn was repaded January 2013 with all new plastic resonator pads. all the dents and dings were removed when it was overhauled. a couple dents were removed from the inside bow and a couple key guards have been resoldered over the years but other than that the horn is in excellent cond. Split bell keys with rolled tone holes and the nail file g# this one must have been one of the last transitional bodies. the serial number sites put it in the 10M serial numbers but it is a transitional body due to the split bell keys. It does have the naked Lady engraving which is a little tough to see due to the finish but.no buffing was done when it was overhauled. the neck is all original some evidence of a small pull down and small dings removed and the brace resoldered but it has all been cleaned up and is ready to go. The used case is not original but it is still in good used cond. No Mouthpiece is included. Great player with a big sound. My Husband Played the horn for many years and I'm sure it has many more years of great music. The ads are written from the notes he had in the cases with the horns. Over the next few months I will continue to sell his collection and all of my extra instruments too. We collected quite a few once I went down stairs. I have been a Professional Musician. Band Director, Conductor for 70 years and My Husband had a small saxophone collection now I'm alone and 85 it's time to just play my trumpets and flugelhorn and sell the rest. The horns I am selling were collected over the past 50 years to loan people in my bands or to play ourselves they are all in VG condition and will serve you well for many many years. I have priced this saxophone well under what they have the same horn priced at on many of the S

I am always available to help with all of your saxophone needs: buying. Selling, trades, advice. Mouthpieces. To find out what we are about. Or to contact ... moreus quickly, G o o g l e GetASax_ Conn Transitional Alto Saxophone Art Deco Engraving Beautiful Condition This is a beautiful example of a Conn Transitional alto saxophone. The transitional Conn saxophones came in a variety of flavors. Between around 234xxx-270xxx, and"transitioned" between Conn's earlier New Wonder II models to their Artist models. Contact me if you want more resources/ information on these horns and I'll point you to some good sources. This particular horn is one of the most desirable versions of a transitional alto. With the coveted geometrical art deco engraving pattern only seen on a small subset of transitional horns(and with a smooth, squared-off G# key at this serial range by the way) Before around 260xxx. Conn did not lacquer horns at the factory, so all Conns were lacquered at the distributor/dealer's location. This one is no exception- it could be called"original lacquer" since this horn has not been buffed or relacquered, but it might more properly be called"first lacquer" for those of you who love precision of expression. This horn has no past repairs. No resolders, body is straight, neck is clean and not pulled down, keywork is mechanically tight and moves freely etc. It has spent its life mostly in its case. Pads are old, and it needs a repad(hence the low price) though you can make saxophone noises on it as is. Any questions, feel free to contact us. Thanks! Shipping: I will pack the horn carefully. I sell pro horns all the time. It will come to you insured. The only international option is Express Mail International. But if you need

This saxophone is the Naked Lady Alto sax in Low Pitch and is a professional model. From what I can tell. This was made between 1935 and 1947 because ... moreit does have rolled tone holes which stopped being produced in 1947. The serial number is 279824 with an'A' preceding it and an'L' following. The A stands for alto and the L stands for low-pitch. This saxophone was made in Elkhart, Indiana and has the original lacquer, though the lacquer is showing wear. There is a very small dent on the bell that is barely noticeable and should be relatively easy to fix. I just had new pads put on all the keys and a new cork, and it plays beautifully! Overall, this instrument is in very good playing condition. The Naked Lady model in low pitch is said to be the finest sax ever produced. It comes in a hard case, though I am sure it is not the original case because it is in near perfect condition. I will ship outside of the U.S. as long as the buyer has sufficient positive feedback and payment is received.

Up for auction is a vintage Conn or Bundy Plastic Clarinet with a tripack case. I don't know if it is a Conn or a Bundy b/c there are no marks on ... morethe clarinet except a serial number 206xxx Cosmetically: No Cracks! There is some oxidation and plate were on the metal bands(see pic) But the keys are ok. But overall normal wear and tear for an old plastic clarinet. The pics do a pretty good job of showing you what it looks like, but if you have any questions or want to see more pics let me know. Mechanically: The clarinet plays from top to bottom. I could take this clarinet to a gig and get through. That being said it probably would play much better if you had it repadded and regulated. It is older and I don't know when the pads were replaced last. Some of the cork is starting to dry and would need to be replaced also. Final Thoughts: This clarinet would be a great outside or backup horn for a doubler. It would also be great to buy and have at home for fun Free Shipping w/ BIN! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thanks and have a great day! Posted with Powered by The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.

Or to contact ... moreus quickly, G o o g l e GetASax_ Conn Bb Soprano 4xxx For your collectors out there. Here's a complete, early Conn soprano SN# 4xxx. It needs an overhaul, so it's being sold as-is. It includes the original mouthpiece and the original case. Because it is an odd length, and because of the vintage, this horn is probably a high pitch Bb soprano. The engraving is beautiful and shows a style that is more ornate than many later Conns. The silver and gold two-tone look is particularly nice. And will look even better after a restoration. Shipping: I will pack the horn carefully. I sell pro horns all the time. It will come to you insured. The only international option is Express Mail International. But if you need a bari shipped to Australia, for example, we can work this out using UPS freight or similar. I can actually ship a bari to countries that have a 108" length + girth limit via USPS(like Europe or Japan) for $200 or less! If you are buying a tenor or a baritone saxophone and your country's USPS size limit is 79 inches length plus girth(like South Korea or Australia) shipping may be more expensive, or I may require that you buy a very protective case for shipping, like a Hiscox. This is a nice vintage used fishing reel it is marked Meek# 3 The Horton MFG. Co.Bristol.Conn.The reel from setting it is kinda stiff winding it probly needs some oiling. It is nice and clean. On the foot there is a number 6742.That is all I can tell you about this reel.Thank you for looking.ALL Sales are Final.
Here for your consideration is a Meek's No. 30 Bait Casting Fishing Reel. As you can see from my pictures. This reel was"used" with wear evident. On the foot is the number 1741. I made no attempt at cleaning this piece. In winding forward with this reel there is an occasional"hitch" in its operation where in reverse, there is no such impediment( I am assuming there is some loose or foreign matter in the transmission/gearbox? I am copying from others in their description of this particular reel but purportedly the housing is made of nickel silver which in itself should give it some value. Winning bidder will be responsible for USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance provided. If you have any questions, please email me. Thank you for looking, Happy Holidays and good hunting!

Here we have a Conn 2 manual/pedal organ in very nice condition with bench. Seller will try to find the model number but several of the many organs listed by davosales are presently in the way. As soon as more information can be obtained it will be added to the listing. Seller has played the organ not too long ago and it seems to have most everything functioning. Posted with On Oct-15-12 at 12:02:11 PDT. Seller added the following information:
You are bidding on one CONN brand electric church organ. Auction includes organ and bench. The organ is a little dusty from sitting in the corner. But otherwise when I tested it everything seemed to work fine. The only thing I saw is that when I turned the power on, there is an audible hum. I am a pianists and have never owned an organ, so I do not know if this is normal, or if it is something that can be easily fixed. The organ came with the church when our congregation purchased it. We are looking for someone who can give this nice instrument a better home. And in return we can use the funds towards giving our youth ministry an electric keyboard for their worship. This would be a tremendous instrument to ship. So at this time we are asking for local pickup only. We are in Orlando, FL. You must supply your own transportation/pick-up/equipment. ... moreYou are welcomed to swing by and take a look on a Sunday after service is over. Anytime between 12:30- 2:30pm-ish. Email me and I will set an appointment up for you to see the organ. Price of the organ is $50 flat. With no reserve. Paypal only please. All sales final. Thank you for looking. And God bless!

Designed to look like a trumpet, is accepted by professionals as the best long model cornet on the ... moremarket. Every detail of construction reflects an elegance of craftsmanship which has made this model the leader in its field. This cornet has a tonal"edge" which adds a beauty of brilliance for solo or ensemble playing. The 28A will serve a dual purpose, for many professionals use it as a trumpet or a cornet. By using a shallower and narrower cornet mouthpiece, this cornet could be made to sound like a trumpet. On the other hand, by using a deeper cup and a wider rim mouthpiece, the 28A would have a true cornet sound. This unusual versatility is aptly demonstrated by the serious student who uses this model in concert band as a cornet and also for stage band or dance band work as a trumpet! I have a rotating Leslie type speaker from a vintage Conn organ. It's another project there's no time for. Has two 4" speakers on a rotating arm with counter weight. I had it working a while ago. Motor spun the speakers at two speeds. Fast/slow. It will need a new belt. The old one slips. I will also include the original volume pedal which could be useful for ALL kinds of projects. There are THREE pots attached to the pedal! One speaker has a small tear. This auction is for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! I am located on the Near West Side of Cleveland Ohio. You must pick up the items within five days of the auction end. Please ask questions BEFORE bidding. Items are As-Is. No returns. Local pickup ONLY.
Conn 18B Coprion Trumpet circa 1959 comes with nifty tweed case and Blessing 7C mouthpiece Serial 775xxx-All Slides and Valves move freely- In EXCELLENT shape with only a few cosmetic Flaws. 1) the pull"knob" is missing from the 2nd slide- does not effect play-ability and is hardly noticeable 2) one small patch of lacquer wear on the crook section(copper area) once again. Only noticeable to the player, not the audience. 3) one small patch of lacquer wear on top of the lead pipe right next to the 2nd valve(brass area) again. Not really noticeable to the audience. 4) the brace closest to the mouthpiece receiver needs to be resoldered- this SHOULD be relatively inexpensive. I just haven't had it done yet(see picture below) it plays FINE how it is now and it is ALMOST unnoticable. a few very very minor"pencil tip" dings ... moreThe trumpet really is in beautiful shape and has a wonderful sound. This would make a great step up horn for a trumpeter that is ready to move up from a student horn. But not quite ready for an expensive pro horn. The Conn Loyalist website lists this as a model 18b since it was produced in 1959. It does share some characteristics with the 17b model which began production in 1960. Here's what Conn said back in 1955: World's first and only low-price trumpet with seamless COPRION bell and famous Crysteel valves. Gives the student advantages formerly available only on higher-priced Conn instruments. Rich tone. Accurate intonation, professional bore. Length: 21½" weight 2 lbs. 10 oz. bell diameter 4 5/8" Highly polished brass, beautiful nickel trim, with seamless Coprion bell, clear lacquered overall. This is a GREAT instrument with a BIG sound(thanks to the Coprion bell) Easy to play. GREAT tone. I've played this one and I love it. But the wife says I need to slim down the trumpet heard and this isn't one I play all the time, so it's gotta go. I will ship this trumpet anywhere in the continental USA. I will only accept PayPal. UPS on the East Coas

Here’s a rare find. This is a lacquer and nickel Conn Victor trumpet. The serial number is 988399 which puts the date of manufacture around 1962. I believe this model is called the 22B. On the ornately engraved bell it reads“Conn U.S.A. Very well made. It has; free moving tuning slides, 4 5/8” bell, 438 bore, 90-95% of its finish, nickel valve casings, bottom spring valves, no big dents and a hard shell/wood Conn case. It has a couple of dings on the bell(see pic) but all in all looks great. The number three valve is missing. The chamber is in good shape and the other valves are in good condition. Me? I’m not a music store. Looking for instruments and getting them into the hands of players is a hobby of mine. Buy accordingly. I’ve never come across one of these. If it were me, I’d get a#3 valve and just start playing but, since whoever buys ... morethis will probably be an advanced player/collector. I’m sure you’ll want to have your tech give it a going over to get in tip-top condition. Again, it looks great. I’m proud to offer it and you’ll be proud to own it. Thanks for your interest and best of luck.

1940 Conn 48-A Connqueror Cornet“Vocabell” finished in Gold Lacquer Satin Brass w/ Bright Accents• This Conn cornet is a"Vocabell" model… Produced during and for the early Swing Era of play-style. The very unique Conn-developed rimless bell yields enhanced harmonics and brightness. And gives better projection and greater volume. Professionally restored by Tom Green… This long-wide cornet is a fine restoration from Green's Buffing and Instrument Repair(greensbuffing.com) Please take a good look at the pics with this listing! Art Deco styling. Soft-satin brass, bright accents… Compared to the Standard American style cornet. This long-wide overall tubing design closely resembles a trumpet in appearance. But it is indeed a cornet. The horn is finished with a satin style brass surface. And distinctive bell engravings featuring bright ... morepolished accents. And a gold lacquer that's a dead-on match for the gold appearance it mimics. Dual sleeved leadpipe with sleek and stream lined waterkeys. It has a#2 bore(467" and polygon shaped outer valve casings. The valves are Crysteel. Which are smooth as crystal and hard as steel. More info on the Conn Loyalist site. Mother-of-Pearl finger button inserts have a concave touch surface. S/N: 329187… Lookup of the serial number from the Conn Loyalist site reflects a manufacture date of origin as 1940. Included is a Claude Gordon#1 cornet mouthpiece that has the appropriate outer shank and taper needed for a proper fit with this pre-1958 Conn cornet. And it's in great shape, too! Also comes with a used case that's in pretty good shape. It's black inside. Black outside, clean, sturdy, and very serviceable for this long cornet. LOOK- BID- WIN!

Offered as is. For your consideration is a Universal Alcohol Stove, Landers Frary& Clark, New Haven Conn. U.S.A. The mechanism goes up and down(if all the way down. It will catch on the containing hole's lip) The tanks has a small crack or gouge that will require a repair. There is a dent in the frame's foot-ring. This is an interesting item. Searching ebay completed listings. I only found one of these with the frame. It may be rare. It is something like these:
Wonderful looking and good playing 1932 vintage Conn 22B trumpet outfit up for bids here. This horn has elaborate engraving on bell and is gold plated. Serial number 250073 and it comes with original case. Cleaning rod, A-Bb slide, Bb only slide, Conn gold plated BI 222 mouthpiece and a mouthpiece adapter. Horn itself has some dents at 3rd slide bow and bow of rotary tuning mechanism(which works great) on A& Bb slide. The Bb only slide has been patched on upper leg and has some pinholes on bow above water key. Looks like a solder repair was done at lower ferrule on 2nd slide at some time in its history. The case is worn and a bit rough on the interior but latches are good and exterior is not bad. Valves have some lacquering discoloration and etching as seen in last photo. compression is not bad at all for its age and it plays with good ... moretone with regular valve oil. Please view the many photos. This is a great looking horn overall and a good player. The issue with the Bb slide could probably be readily fixed with a good slide from another 22b and a bit of gold plating. Checkout the photos and Good Luck! Ships quickly and insured with tracking.

Up for auction is one that I had not wanted to part with. Of all the horns I have sold over the years. This horn stands out for no other reason other than its brassy, bright, loud powerful.insert colorful metaphor here) almost rude sound. This thing projects like a monster. I have had brass bell horns with this bore, but not with the copper bell. There really is a difference. 484 bore is bigger than the small bore pea shooter trombones we service at.472 bores. This would make a heck of a marching horn or brass band horn. The bell on the horn has been peppered up, but not to the point where it has been unsoldered at the bracing to repair. Just a plethora of dent balls and rods over the years. I could ramble on about how it plays and projects, but really there is just no need. All slides work fine and have been polished. The tuning slide has ... morebeen worked on prior to my ownership and you can see a difference in where the upper half enters the leadpipe and where the bottom end goes in flush. Good fast valves, with new felts and corks. Conn 4 mouthpiece is included, but I do not have a case. If I find a case this week, I will add it on as long as I can bump the price without e bay reprisal. If that is the case, I will offer it to the buyer at MY cost. Generally the horn is free of dents, but does show signs of repairs. NO reserve. International shipping is ok, but please request a shipping quote first. Posted shipping cost is for Conus only, all other US states and territories must pay the priority upcharge. Sorry you guys know why. Good luck, and feel free to ask any questions.

C.G. Conn"New York Wonder" Cornet Patent June 15. 1886 Intricate pattern on the outside of the bell. Tops of the finger buttons appear to be mother of pearl. This coronet is tarnished throughout. Has two minor dings: 1st ding is on bottom of 1st valve slide seen in picture#7. 2nd ding is on the front of the 3rd valve slide in picture#4. Valves are clean. Don't stick, and are operational. All of the slides are in good working order. Needs to be oiled. The mouth piece is a levy model#6. Auction is for Coronet only. Does not come with case. Please email if you have additional questions or need additional pictures. Please note I am not a musical instrument expert only telling you what I can see. ========================================================= This auction benefits St. Vincent de Paul's Food Pantry Note: When I am not ... moreebaying. I'm selling my trusty F15. It's a vintage Conn from the 70's. Supposed to be made by a great Japanese Luthier. Solid spruce top. And solid mahogany back and sides. It's in very good cosmetic shape, with little signs that it's almost 40 years old. The wood has aged nicely and RESONATES! The only newer guitar I've found that resonates like this one is a Bourgeois that's about $4000 bucks or so. A year or so back I picked up a vintage Conn OM. And switched to playing it all the time. I prefer the smaller size. So I started messing with this one and tried to put in a new nut and saddle. I apparently have no idea how to properly set up a guitar. I couldn't do it. So after a few tries and fails, I put it in its case and set it on a shelf. That's been about a year ago I think. So I figure I should sell it rather ... morethan it just sitting there. It needs a nut. A saddle, and a setup. You might think about replacing the tuners on the low strings(E, A, D) as they have a little wobble inside them mechanically. But I think once you get it set up right, you'll have a very nice dread. It has a big full sound. The case is in rough shape. But does the job of protecting the guitar. Free Shipping is for US only. All others must pay actual shipping cost. On Jan-24-13 at 19:22:10 PST. Seller added the following information: Mistake Above. Shipping is not free. It is $20 for US shipping. International buyers will pay calculated cost.

1978 C.G. CONN- MODEL 61B"SUPER CONNSTELLATION" PROFESSIONAL MEDIUM LARGE BORE Bb TRUMPET WITH A CUSTOM BRUSHED/POLISHED/LACQUERED FINISH IN NEAR MINT CONDITION I have been playing horns for 56 years.collecting and restoring vintage trumpets& cornets. And building custom horns for 45. Over those years I amassed a vast trumpet/ cornet collection. During the past few years I have thinned out the herd and continue to do so. All my horns are gig ready.cleaned, valves adjusted& aligned with new corks& felts when necessary. PLEASE LOOK AT THE OTHER HORNS I HAVE LISTED For your consideration. Here is a beautiful example of a 1st year issue Model 61B"Super Connstellation" trumpet that for all intents and purposes, is a model 60B with an added first valve slide adjustable saddle. The 60B was Conn's first modern ... moredesign that ushered them into the world of superhorns. I suspect it was a response to the King 1055T Silver Flair and Getzen Eterna 900 Severinsen models that were the first true superhorns introduced in 1964. Conn introduced the 60B in 1967. And it was replaced by the Model 61B in 1973.again, the only difference being an adjustable 1st valve slide saddle added to the 61B. This 61B is an EXTREMELY lightweight 2 lb. 1.8 oz. free and open blowing horn with a rather big and somewhat fat tone. It exhibits awesome flexibility and responsiveness. Can absolutely sizzle in the upper register, and is comfortable with most acoustic venues. It has great intonation.the low register is not flat, and is very resonant. The 5th harmonic is great, and so is the upper register intonation. Intonation is superb and the slots are nice. Slotted in tune, and a little bit flexible for shading, the 61B can easily peel the paint from the back wall of an auditorium with huge amounts of projection when you step on the gas. However, it has the ability to back off for soft passages without losing tonal color, so it can blend perfectly in any legit setting as well. The trumpet can vary its sound like a chamele
Conn 20b trumpet. Just cleaned and serviced and in nearly perfect condition. Cosmetically it looks great, with just a few small, hardly noticeable dents/dings which do not affect the playing and performance. Otherwise the lacquer finish is about 98 percent in tact, and the horn shines really nice. It plays and sounds great, with a crisp, bright sound. This horn has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. The inside has been thoroughly flushed clean with brushes and the exterior has been polished. It has been oiled, greased and is ready to play. The valves are fast, responsive and smooth, and all the slides move freely. All felts, waterkey pads and springs are in excellent condition. Includes a Conn 7C mouthpiece and original hard-shell case in very good condition. A great choice for beginner, student, or even intermediate player- and a MUCH ... morebetter deal than renting.

This item is a 1967 Conn 60B Bb trumpet. The serial number is K32997. I used the trumpet professionally for over 2 years in many different settings. It is particularly great for big band. Lead and jazz. The horn is in very good condition and the valves are particularly great. Please feel free to ask any questions! Posted with
This trumpet appears to be in very good condition for it's age. It was built like a tank and has survived the last 6 0 years remarkably well! I believe it's all original. The lacquer has been removed and it shines up nice. The horn is straight and there are no signs of a repair. The valves and slides work freely. Except for the third valve slide whic h can stick. Those in the know claim that Penn Trumpets were stencil horns made by Buescher or Conn. My guess(based on it's serial number) is that this one was made by Conn in 1954. Although the horns is very well built and may last another 60 years. There no doubt it once sounded a bit better. I noticed that the first valve is out of alignment and although the valves all look in remarkably shape, there's some air leakage in the first and third. In addition, two of the pearl finger ... morebuttons are cracked and the case is in rough shape. The horn plays well enough for a beginner. If the valve work is done it would be a fine, rather rare model horn suitable more serious player. Other than that, just put it in a your trumpet collection or hang it on wall hanger. Cheap and no reserve.

Rare Conn 34-A Concert Special Cornet ca 1953 Brass Lacquer ser# 422xxx made in Elkhart IN. Horn has been chemically cleaned and is in good mechanical condition and non-compression water key corks installed. Valves smooth and tuning slides pull smooth. This model was made only for several years still a good player or great collector. Horn has scratches. Dings, plating loss and some dent removal. Horn comes in a case in good condition and no mouthpiece. From the Conn Loyalist web site: This is the third one of these I have ever seen. At first I thought these were 12A Coprion's with a brass bell. Essentially a 112A(see separate listing) But I have received proof that this is in fact called a 34A: a picture of the underside of the mouthpiece receiver with"34A" clearly stamped on it. As far as I can tell at this point these were ... moreonly produced for a short period in 1953 and 1954. The 34A doesn't appear in either the 1950 or the 1955 catalogs. But it is in the 1954 catalog. Occasionally you see what appears to be a 12A with a red brass bell, as opposed to a Coprion bell. The models of those I have seen are engraved"12A" on the bell, so are classified as"12A" and not"34A" At first circumstantial evidence suggested the 34A was called the"Symphony Grand" but the 1954 catalog lists it as the"Concert Special" It has a#1½(0.458" bore. I have learned that the third slide. Without the finger ring to adjust the pitch of a low D and C# is slightly longer than it is on modern instruments. On modern instruments the low Eb is in tune, but the low D and C# are quite sharp. On these older cornets with the longer third slide and no finger ring the Eb is a bit flat and the D and C# are slightly sharp, but not as sharp as they are on later instruments. It was thought that the slightly flat Eb and slightly sharp D and C# were within the abilities of the player to lip into tune. As far as I can tell at this point. All Conn cornets built before 1958 take a short

One negative: The underside of the mouthpipe tail has a remnant solder shape from removal of stop-rod brace where attached. As published from Conn in the day. It's a# 2-1/2 bore(484" and is an incredible horn to play. And the 2nd valve casing shows a( near the serial number. Too. Current thinking is that this indicates a non-standard alloy. Hello. I'm selling a vintage CG Conn cornet mute. I acquired it with a ca. 1916 Conn New Wonder. Obviously it could have been added to it somewhere along the way. But I think the vintage adds up. It's in good shape with a couple of minor pings here and there. The three corks are present. The engraving is nice and defined. It's about 4 1/4 inches. A nice addition to your collection. Bid by proxy. Thank you.
1920's 1930's VINTAGE SUPERTONE TRUMPET ORIGINAL SILVER FINISH SAYS MADE IN USA ON THE BELL This is a nice SUPERTONE trumpet in original condition. The finish on this is in nice shape with a few nicks and scratches but actually very nice for and instrument of its age. Supertone was a brand sold by Sears and Roebuck in the 20's thru the 30's I assume that is what this is. I know Harmony built sears Supertone guitars until about 1940. Not sure if they sold anything branded Supertone after 1941. I've had Supertone Accordions and guitars all from before the war. I'm guessing this was a stencil from Conn or Martin or Buescher or? If you know and you'd like to share I'd love to know. I've done some internet searches and can't say for sure.
